Kaji is a very quiet little man. He's starting to discover his voice. Of course, I've never been able to teach him to "speak." This is as close as we've gotten. Pay close attention as he's not very loud.

He's sooo stinkin' cute! Kaji needs to come teach Jackson how to do a quieter noise, lol. Every time I try, he does 'speak' and does a loud bark! LOL. I can't get him to whine or whatever softly. He's adorable.

That's too cute.....there are days that I wish a couple of ours never "found" their voice. LOL!!

That was his dinner. He was eating Orijen. Can you believe that's as loud as he gets on command? When he's scared he can whine up a storm. It hurts my ears!

maybe you should try asking him to make a BIG noise instead of a little one!! LOL! :p imagine if you tried that and he barked loud? "what mom? i was just doin what you asked me to!!!" :D

We've tried. I have him sit next to my friends yorkie, Missy (she's the one next to Kaji in my avatar) and ask them both to speak. Missy is a pro and Kaji is just confused and gets frustrated since he doesn't know how to do what I ask of him. Missy can model the behavior all day and he still doesn't get it. We've been working on "speak" for over a year now, and this is as much noise as he'll make. :p

Kaji is adorable... My husband says be thankful that Kaji is quiet, as we have two loud mouths at our house :p

OMG that is TOO cute! I wish I hadn't taught my dog "speak" cuz now he can't stop speaking, he barks at just about everything! I wish my dog could do that little noise like Kaji does!

Ah -- I love that little noise! So cute, Kaji! Annie found her voice a week or two ago but it was not nearly as sweet! She is a shrill barker. I hope her voice deepens/softens a little. She just heard Haji's little noise and is barking at me! :D I love how the least little noise, they can tell it is another dog.

I finally got to use my "real" computer to enjoy your video of Kaji. Adorable!! I agree with your father, Kaji isn't a dog, he is the world's cutest stuffed animal come to life. Those big, beautiful eyes! I just want to pick him up and hug him and never put him down. :)

Max keeps extending his range upwards. Ouch! He is keenly aware of the power of his voice. Thank goodness he doesn't bark all day, but when he does....

Kaji is seriously ADORABLE. I can't get over how cute he is! Loved the video, and loved his little noise. :) Levi is a big-time talker. He loves his voice and does a whole range of cries, barks, whines, and growls.
