Yes, yes, another video. :rolleyes: You can always tell when it's gross outside and I have nothing better to do than throw together another video. :D:p

More swimming and retrieving (he thinks he's a Lab!) and playing fetch. Look at that tail wagging the whole time! He just loves it.

This is at my dad's house on the Eastern Shore of MD.

I loved it!!! He is such happy guy, he makes me laugh how he swims around in that pool tail wagging the whole time. Now that takes some serious skills;)

What a cute video... love it. The music is so happy, it really compliments Jackson's happy day. I'm gonna bookmark this and play it whenever I need a mood lift:D

You are doing great work with your new Play Sport camera and iMovie.... I still have hardly used mine :(

Jackson really seems to love that water, it looks like he is throughly enjoying himself and happy, it makes you smile just watching him!

His tail looked like a boat propeller LoL He's too cute..such a smart dog..he ACTUALLY brings the ball back when you throw it..Pasquale grabs it and shakes the crap out of it but never brings it back..you can tell he's saying MINE MINE MINE!! LoL

Yes! Love the tail action. Great video Brit. Jackson is so much fun.

I never thought I would say this, but I want a pool again. You are a bad influence on me. ;););)

I needed a big smile today and that really did it! I loved it and when Jackson was kicked back taking a break on the pool step, really cracked me up. Whew...swimming is hard work. He is the happiest dog I ever laid eyes on, lol.

LOL, don't worry... this 'bringing the ball back' thing just recently started, ha. He used to (and still does, sometimes) kinda has ADD and forgets the ball mid-way when he gets a sniff of something else, hahaha. I actually had to 'teach' him the game of fetch by putting him on a leash and gently tugging him back towards me, he never used to have ANY interest in fetch. :rolleyes: Suddenly, he's turned into my little Retriever.

I was wondering if it would get confusing to him being used to it then going in without. I take all my pups in the pool, mostly to make sure they can swim for safety, but they don't really LOVE it like Jackson does. I guess in my case that might be ok, cause I don't want them to go in without me, and monitoring 4 or 5 doggies is hectic.

But it sure is fun watching Jackson with his happy propeller tail:D

Yes -he does! :) He jumped in once (while we were in the pool) without it and all last summer he didn't have a lifejacket. He finally realizes, I think, that the jacket helps him out so he tends to swim and jump in more when he's wearing it. When he's not wearing it, he's still a very good swimmer, he just doesn't last as long. Actually you can see in this vid(towards the end):
We're really diligent with the pool in general with both dogs (dad has 2 dogs, I bring Jackson) and kids. We have a TV screen inside where we can see the dogs from inside, even though they're usually not outside without us anyways but we let them out to potty etc without going out there with them sometimes. None of the dogs have yet to get in or fall in when we're not there but ya just never know. My 5yr old brother passed away in 2006 due to a drowning at a public pool, so drowning is a huge fear and concern of mine.

I love the pool sooo much because it tires him OUT like nothing else will! If he swims for a good 10 minutes in a day, he's generally completely pooped out later on.

I also wanted to say that I am so sorry about your little brother's drowning. I saw the link to his site on another thread, what an adorable little guy with such awesome eyes.

I'm replying to this late and can't remember if I replied to you... but I know AZ is a #1 cause of death in kids, because so many people have pools.

It's really a scary thing!

I LOVE these videos of Jackson and his adventures! I could literally sit for hours and watch him..lol...And I too wanted to say how sorry I am about the loss of your little brother, I had no idea...

I really want Kasha to be a pool dog like Jackson!!!

So, he just went in on his own and now loves it? We put her in the pool and she swam around for a few but I wonder if she'd like it better w/ the vest. Did you introduce him to the pool at all?

He's just so darn happy & athletic ! Makes me smile!
