Yorkie Jail Break! My little monkey escapes. Guess we will be buying an extra tall baby gate for when she visits Grandma&Grandpa!! |
They are persistent aren't they, lol |
So stinkin' cute. :) |
too cute. They don't give up do they? |
Lol my question has been ... how did she even think to jump it?? little terror:-) |
Mine did the same thing. I had to get a taller gate that had only vertical slats so that there would be no foothold for climbing. |
better edit here. |
lol - that's determination - I have a climber/flyer also in Cheri - started at that age and never stopped, She'll jump OVER her stairs no matter how much I try to stop her and I have them everywhere (the bed - couch and a chair) .....she scares me all the time It's funny how some will sit and not try while others will do whatever to get out - just be careful ! you don't want any broken legs - that's always been my fear with Cheri He's very cute ! |
Yea, I'm worried about her jumping and breaking. Our gate @ home is much taller & we use stairs for the bed. red98vett I like that you refer to them as climber/flyer, so true she does fly at times! |
What a little smart girl she is. |
I have the same problem with Sassy she is 8 months old and 6lbs. We have the extra tall gate and my husband even raised it up with a board at the bottom. she jumps until she can get to the top and jumps over. I just can't figure out how to stop her. My other 3 have never tried this. Can't raise the gate too much more because the cat can't jump over. Any advice is appreciated. Afraid she is going to break a leg. |
I never could keep any of mine in a pen or behind a gate lone- they went from extra large crates to a bedroom with the door shut. |
You need post look up the thread about what job your yorkie would have and put her down for escape artist/acrobat. |
