Well, it only amounted to 8" or so, but it sure looked and felt like a blizzard when it was coming down. Eddie wimped out, but Jillie and Rusty made the most of it.

OMG!! I absolutely love the new video of Jillie & Rusty. I had to forward it to all of my family and friends because they are just so cute together!!

It was so funny when you made the comment "Whoever said yorkies are sissies are crazy....." as Jillie happily romped in the snow. My husband thought I was crazy because I wanted to let our little Tessie play in our recent "once in a lifetime" 4 inch snow in Georgia :rolleyes:. He said that she was too little and would get sick and I said, "But I watch so many videos of other little yorkies playing in the snow and they look just fine :)"

To cute! Nah, Yorkies aren't sissys at all!! Alaska weather reminds me so much of Labrador! You have to be tough to live there! :)

Jillie is a cutie. Looks like Rusty almost took a piddle on her, he he. Unlike you, here in WV we had a lovely 70 degree day and Ella only had to brave the all mighty park. =]

oh man Mike - that was awesome !

she was swimming thru that snow ! you can tell they're true Alaska Dogs - talk about stamina ...that snow was up to their necks ! GREAT VIDEO :thumbup:

How does Eddie deal with doing his "business"? Does he go outside for a few seconds and then return indoors?

Aww, thanks everybody. Jillie never ceases to amaze me in how she can deal with snow and cold.

Alison, Unlike Jillie, Eddie knows that I'm going to shovel off the deck. So he waits until I get that done. Then he'll go out in the back and wander around for 5-10 minutes doing the poo dance. He went a little stir crazy yesterday because he elected to skip our walk, so he was happy to go on one today. He has a real good sense of when the conditions are too miserable.

I love it!! Looks like they had a great time. Were you out of breath? You were sounding a little winded, Mike.

Our snow is just about gone. Now for the season of mud. Hope we have at least one more good snowstorm before spring.

LOL, I was WAITING for someone to bring that up. :p Yes! Tromping around in snowshoes is not as easy as it looks!

OMG! I LOVE THIS VIDEO! its soooo cute...!!! I love how they get along.
I brought Lexi out in the snow and she totally explored it! It was her first time outside! Next winter I think im going to dress her in something super warm and start taking her for walks out in the snow =D
