Jackson's new trick: "Spin!"
 
He learned Spin last night, and had it down within 5 minutes this morning! I wasn't sure if he would be able to do that trick but with about 10-15 minutes of repeating it over and over again last night, and him getting very frustrated that he didn't understand what I wanted him to do... he finally got it this morning! :D I compiled all of his tricks... I think? ha! My camera died so I had to use my old videos to dub in the other tricks. Anyways, here it goes!

Wow! WOW, WOW, WOW! Jackson is a superstar! Those are awesome tricks, and he does them all perfectly. Nice job!

I'm convinced that a Yorkie can learn any trick out there, it just might take a few more repetitions to teach them. In those canine intelligence lists, border collies often finish on top because they can learn new things in 5 repetitions. Yorkies never show up on the list, but they can still learn the same things just as well with more practice.

Thanks for the video. Jackson is doing great!

I have to admit Jackson is one of my favorites on YT. I come on just hoping to see a new picture or video of him. He is adorable but yet all boy with no fear. I love all yorkies of course but I think he is one of the best!!!:bravo:

LOL, the popcorn machine is for Jackson... or so he thinks, ha. :rolleyes: We got that machine for a really cheap price on eBay cuz it had a dent in it. Works like a charm, popcorn is sooo good in it, haha.

Yay Buddy! Why have we never seen any videos of good ole' Buddy? I have to say, I'd love to see Bud in action. He's one of my favorite Yorkies here.

Thank you! That means a lot coming from you. I love watching Eddie. Speaking of... I haven't seen too many Eddie/Jillie/Rusty videos lately! Get on it!

And I agree, Yorkies are really intelligent, in what I've seen anyways. I'm only speaking from Jackson and videos I've seen on YouTube, etc but they all seem like such smart little guys. I try to teach my dad's Doxy mix and Jack Russell/Shihtzu mix tricks and they look at me like "Duh?"! lol. I'm sure they'd get it eventually but Jackson is so much smarter, but maybe I'm just biased :p

I should have waited to make a video! LOL... tonight he's almost got down "crawl"
Five minutes of me repeating it and dragging my hand across the floor was all it took.
He's so smart. People underestimate Yorkies. :)

I wish that you could bottle Jackson's disposition and sell it! I love the handshake. The look on his face is so earnest and sweet!
