Gee, I've never asked to borrow someone's hubby before, your hubby sounds like mine, but no one asks him to do speeches! I think telling my hubby that someone else is willing to do it is all the incentive he'll need, but I'll let you know. I found the tune on the web, and I tried to sing to it, but it was just too horrible. I don't want to torture anyone, even though it's Halloween! I thought you responded fast, I've been looking for the spiderman theme song. :D

The Electric Company was a PBS show on after Sesame Street for slightly older children. I guess it used the same basic song as the spiderman cartoon did, it sure sounds the same.

No problem. We loan each other out all the time, lol, within reason and our comfort level.

Just a suggestion. Could you use a prop for the contest as well? Like say... one of those rope webs and attach a stuff squirrel, rabbit or cat etc.

Best of luck with the contest. And even though I have a gut feeling that you and Joey (bundle of cuteness) will make out well. Please keep us posted.

It actually a party, not a contest, and Joey's is a prop in my costume; I'm going as Spider Mom! I'm no longer the age where cute sexy outfits look good! :D

This was great! I think I'll look for a spider after Halloween for Sophie for next year. I think it would be too big for Jacie.

I found a spider prop at Walmart last year similar to this.
Amazon.com: Spider 23In Hairy Poseable Prop:...Amazon.com: Spider 23In Hairy Poseable Prop:... . I just hot glued a Velcro strip to the bottom of the spider and sewed another strip of Velcro to a black hoodie. I was trying to improve on the costume for this year and got a black baby onesie to use, but I'm not sure if this is an improvement. I cut black stretchy knee high's to use as his front legs and connected them together at the back of his neck.

I just found this on Amazon Attachment 296787and it would make a cute costume!

my six year old granddaughter just watch joey's video and she had a fit. She said Na Na he is soooo cute.. we love it:)

Nancy, that is just too cute:D I had my 18 month grand daughter on my lap and Belle was laying on the desk. We watched it about 6 times. Anya kept looking at me like what is that? Belle was trying to lick the screen. I had to explain to Anya about the puppy but then she got scared that the spider ate him! I think I have things under control now. Anya's happy again and I will clean the screen. Joey is so cute!!!
