Great video. Persistence may pay off, lol. Thanks for sharing. |
The video's are cute but i wouldn't allow Versace to do that anymore. He can seriously hurt himself. |
He is really smart, His little followers were hardly keeping up.:animal36 |
wow, he is adorable, but that last one scared me! I have a little girl that has no fear either (we call her Miss Ruff and Tumble) and we have to keep her from doing stuff like that. I am afraid she will seriously hurt herself, and for all their fearlessness they are fragile little guys really. I even try to keep her from jumping off the bed and such, I think it is too hard are their little knees. I am not trying to rain on your parade here (truly I'm not). He really is a little doll-baby but I just worry that he will hurt himself doing that. |
I think I speak for many here in that we only wish the very best for you & for yr adorable babies. I know that you are a fairly new member. Believe me in that I & so many have learned a great deal from all the wonderful people here @YT who have the same Love for their babies. The shared wealth of knowledge & experience is wonderful and supportive. Please Please know how very dangerous this is for Versace. He is just a Doll! There are so many things that can happen in a split second that we don't realize. There are so many stories here about knee surgeries and babies falling. I don't mean to be abrupt, but he could even break his neck. I would never want anything tragic to happen to yr beautiful babies & for you. Pls take care! Pls continue to share these Adorable babies. Best Wishes!! |
Great video. But at the same time, be careful with them, because letting them do that, could cause serious injurie's! |
Wow I would have a heart attack if one of mine tried that. I won't even let mine jump off the bed or couch. I can see where he seems to enjoy doing it but I would be too afraid he would get seriously hurt. He is too cute! |
He is very cute, although I wasn't laughing while watching the video, I was too scared he might get hurt. He is darling and I would hate to see anything happen to him, it would be heartbreaking. |
That is just too funny! Thanks for sharing. |

Please be careful with your babies. |
I really don't see this as funny. To put a toy up on a counter top and then encourage the dog to jump up on there and then jump off the table, is just asking for a injury to the dog. As some of the others have said, please don't let this continue to happen. |

Thank you!!! Thank you for all your concerns. This was the ONLY TIME he's done this. Although he has tried to jump on the kitchen counters a few times before. I put his toy up there because I was done playing (he is a persistent little bug-a-boo) It did not start off as "OH LETS SEE HOW HE WILL GET IT". He usually stops but not this day. He is not your typical "frail" yorkie. He is 100% muscle. Yes I know that yorkies are quite known for having bad knees, and I wish he didn't jump on/off my bed (4 ft high) but after 3 years of trying and using stairs etc, jumping is just much quicker for him. STUBBORN table for ONE! Again THANK YOU everyone for your concerns. He was NOT hurt, and please know that Versace maybe a yorkie but he is NOT frail!!! He can overpower two vet techs and a vet. So don't let his exterior cute yorkie looks fool you. |

Oh my gosh that was too funny! :p Loved his cute little face at the end of the first one! |
OMGoodness...he's super Yorkie!! Some parts did have me going:eek::eek::eek:...even tho he looks like he's got it under control, you don't want him jumping around like that. He can seriously get injured or develop LP doing that. If your vet saw this, he would advise not to let him jump like that. I've seen your other video w/Kona's chips where you have the chicken tuffie on the counter...encouraging him to jump & get it. |

He is very tenacious and cute too. Im glad to hear he doesn't do this often. Maybe you should look into agility classes for him. He seems very athletic. It would be a good and safe place for him to do his thing! |
He's very cute and certainly agile. The videos were great, but I would not put any of his toys or treats on that counter anymore for fear that he would try to get at them while you were away and something might happen. |
No matter how muscular he is he still can get hurt. My daughter fractured her ankle just by jumping up and landing wrong and that is a human with less fragile bones. I also know of a few fluffs that have hit their heads and have gotten concussion or worse and he could have hit that wall sliding off the table. I for one would not sit there and laugh at mine.
