I want one of these!!!!!!! :) |
Wow she spins a lot before doing it and i thought she was going # 2 because mine spin before doing that but she only peed lol She is too cute! Very good at getting it in the middle! |
I want one sign me up, I am fixin to get a puppy and this would be great for training . |
There were two different versions, which is the newest and why? the green one question if it stays wet will it repeat. Just curious? |
She is too cute! Love the invention by the way! |
PeePad The dark color, single sheet pad has to be changed for a dry pad for the machine to reset for a new treat, or if the pad drys out the machine will reset. Our little jazz peed too often to allow for it to dry most days, after a year of using the pad, she would let us know she wanted a dry pad. If we were not home she would often drag the pad off the senor Board. It does not take them long to figure out what they have to do to get your praise and most importantly the treat. car. The other Video has the option for Roll pads and automatic Pad advance and reset. I will offer the auto option than can be added to the single sheet pad version, by attaching the Roll parts to the existing pad and changing a switch on the bottom of the treat bowl from single to auto. I still have a couple of month's work on the auto sheet feed components. In most cases I think the single pad is the best way to get a pet started off. The treat bowl can have operate up to four pee pad sensor boards if the pet requires a bigger target to start the training process. For those of you that have expressed interest in buying, I will keep you posted as soon as I have got my pricing and the product ready. This is the only site that I posted to, and based on your feed back i'm working hard to get the equipment and materials than will allow for a reliable, safe and durable product for our pets. Wow, that is interesting. I love the idea, but have a couple questions. How safe is it if the pad advances forward, is there a possibility of the furbaby getting caught in it? I would be scared of them using it when I am not around, you never know what could happen How messy is it when they have a poopy? |
Hi AprilLove, The Auto Roll Pad has a lenghtly delay between the time the pet wets the pad and it rolls to a dry pad, I had shortened the delay for the video. In my testing the pet was long gone before the pad was advanced. Also the Roll Pads are perforated and will tear, and their is a small guard on the wet roll end that was not installed on the version in the video. As to the poop, my pets have never pooped and peed in the same place. For what ever reason Jazz picked a different area in the house when we didn't take her outside, but it was always in the same area and pretty much the same times of day so generally speaking it was not hard to find, easy to pickup and dispose of with out a mess. If Jazz had pooped on the pad and the sheet rolled after becoming wet, the poop would be pulled to edge of the pad and the roll guard would stop the poop from being rolled up. Also on my later design, I have changed the drive motor on the pad roller and it moves vary slow, 5 revolutions per min. Dave |
Most dogs do poo where they pee (on the pads), so you might want to take that into consideration. |
Hi Vanessa, Thanks for the advice, I have not figured out how to detect and reward for poo, but I will work on the design of the Auto Sheet Machine to take care of a potential messy problem. Thanks Dave |
That is genius! Where on earth did you buy that contraption? I want one! Your little Jazzy is an animated wind-up doll! So cute. So smart. |
ok so on the single sheet one will the treat bowl repeat itself as long as the well pad is still there or is it heat sensative? and if the go back and wet another spot will it give another treat? or do you have to reset it every time. and how many treat can you disensed? does it pick up the treats repeatidly and automaticly every time or does that have to be reset also? |
I want one... keep us updated=) |
