That is the sweetest video! Love watching your furbabies swimming.

Just a couple of questions.... We have a hot tub at home, but I have never put the girls in it. Is that your home hot tub? If so, do you keep the temperature lower? Do you watch the amount of chemicals, so they can swim? I would love to give my girls exercise like that, if it is okay.

They look like they are loving the exercise. Thank you for sharing. :)

Thanks. Yes, this our home hot tub. The temperature is lowered...we haven't been using it since the weather has warmed up and are getting ready to empty it for the summer-I think hubby has backed off of the chemicals as well. I know a lot of people who let their dogs swim in pools and the chemicals are in that also. We just kept it filled because of Hot Rod's surgery. I thought it would be good low impact therapy for him.

I think I wanna get in tooo!!!!!! When I put Harley in the tub for a bath he stands really still and wont move!!!!! LOL So nice to see Hot Rod doing well. They are both adorable!!!!!!

That is soooo cute! Also, I have always wanted to comment on the name, Hot Rod. Great name for a Yorkie! I love it! I noticed the use of the handle on the life jacket. I have said that the life jackets on Yorkies allow us to pick them up like a little purse.:D Thanks for the video.

Oh my how cute..poor HotRod..all he wants to do is take his laps around the tub and that Maggie Mae just won't leave him alone..lol. That was a sweet video.:thumbup:

Can you fill the tub all the way up? Maybe the depth of the water would get him going? When hubby holding them over the water before putting them in, they were already paddling. lol! I'm going to try and get another video the next time of that. It is too funny to see them like that. Hubby is holding them from underneath and they look like turtles. lol

They are so cute!!! Thanks for sharing!! I picked up a life vest (new) at the Shipshewana Flea Market in Indiana last summer for $5....Pet smart charges from $20 up!

I definitely recommend it! Better safe than sorry. We also put them in without the vest so that way they will not panic (hopefully) if they should go in without it on. They do well without it too but they get tired and do start to sink so watch for that. I got the orange vest at Petco and the lime one at Petsmart. Of course now Petsmart has a cute pink and white one! :rolleyes:

Thanks. Yeah, Hot Rod had a case of the zoomies when we were trying to come up with a name and that was that! lol.:p:D
