Aww, thanks, you guys. That's why I post the videos -- to feed my ego. :p

If anyone is interested in teaching that trick, I found a book on tricks that helped a lot. It suggests looping the leash under one paw and luring the dog forward a step or two with a "limp" command. They said you can go from there to a "sling" that holds one paw up. I haven't tried that part yet.

I'd been working on this trick for a LONG time with no headway. I was just holding one of his paws. The leash trick sped things up a lot.

Oh cool, I was ready for a new trick, Joey finally learned to pray, hallelujah! This trick took by far the longest of any, I've been working on it for a whole year, and the little atheist just wouldn't pray, he finally he got the spirit though, so limping will be our next endeavor.

Mike just think you will be able to get to the head of the line everywhere you go:) Poor little guy can't use a crutch so you two now have it made if you can say 'limp' softly. EDDIE you are the smartest little guy:thumbup:

OMG - that is so freaking cute!!!!! Eddie will definitely need to perform his tricks for us in Alexandria (don't worry - we'll have lots of treats for rewards)!!!!!

awww thats great!!! He's tooo adorable! Now just watch it will come back on you. One day he will come limping to you and you will feel so bad and spoil him with extra treats, then he will eat his treat and RUN away....laughing...lol
