Babies first blow dry after bath
 
Moo Moo's first blow dry after a bath, oh yeah the blow drier was on warm low until I got to his head then I hit the cool button so I wouldn't irritate his nose or eye's by drying them out with warm air.

I expected him to like it, his mother and father like the blow dryer so I just figured he would and low and behold he does :D. I kind of knew he was going to like the blow dryer because I have forced hot air for heat in my home and when it was cold out he would sit in front of the heater and let the air blow on him so I'm thinking he likes the feel of the warm air on his body, I think the only thing that bothered him was the noise the blow dryer makes, other than that he was a good boy.

LOL. He did so wonderfully. Delilah deals with it, but is a big fan of air drying and or rubbing all over everything. She is a nut.

How cute, Maggie isn't too bad, I found a doggie blow dryer with a stand at Magic Mart, it is so handy.

I can't believe he isn't trying to climb out of the sink. Mine like it but I do them on the counter with a towel under them. But they don't like the face part done they will try to hid there face. That is really good for the first time.

My little Jazzi turns in to a psyco when I get out the dryer, It is quite comical. She HATES the blow dryer and brush, however she LOVES bath time we have to watch her because she will get in the tub with the kids or myself if she is let in the bathroom during bath time.

Any suggestions on making brushing an easier chore for the both of us?

How I got my baby's used to the brush is I would only brush a small part of their body, like maybe one leg, then I would let them go run and play and forget about the trauma they just went through getting the one leg combed or brushed, then a little while later I will do another part of their body's all the while praising them, giving them kisses and treats. I got to admit though I've never really had a problem with my baby's. Since they were born I've been getting them used to being handled. Do me a favor and sit on your couch grab your baby and lay her on her back, act like your checking her for stuff touch her feet, open her mouth and check in side, if she sits still for that, give her lots of love and treats and next time use the comb or brush on her, if she does not sit still then that means she is not submitting to you. When pups are about a month old the breeder should atleast for one hour everyday handle them, touch their feet, open their mouths and look around, check their ears, and comb a small part of them every single day eventually they will get used to being groomed.

Thank you all for the compliments to my furbaby, fortunately and unfortunately because I would love to keep him for myself but I just can't afford too, he is leaving me today to go to his new home, his new mommy and daddy will be picking my little MooMoo up and they already are well aware of his spoiled little butt, I don't know if you guys seen the video "does anybody else have a crybaby" but he is such a cry baby he acts like a human child whenever I get home from work he meets me at the door crying at the top of his lungs to be picked up, sometimes I think he thinks he is human, I of course can't help but to pick him up so I've created a monster, now he knows if he cries at the top of his lungs someone will come to his rescue and pick him up and love him up, lolololol.

I know right...I should of never let him go, he is with his new mommy and daddy now and I miss him like crazy I want him back but I know that will be wrong of me to give them their money back and ask for my baby, but I am so tempted....I miss him soooo much.

I can't believe it. My girls don't much care for the bathing or drying. Cassie is almost 6 months old and the first time I dried her she was trying to jump out of my arms. It's gotten slightly better but she came to me hating the whole routine. The bath was as bad the first time, she climbed my arm the whole time. I had scratches all up my forearm. She is trusting me more and more each time but the air from the dryer upsets her. Even on lowest speed.

I haven't tried the blow dryer yet. Harley is still getting used to the bath. I hope he takes to it well like that!
