Sorry for the looong delay Hi all - well, I haven't been on here for about 3 years due to one thing and another :) I would like to share something that happened to Cookie on the night of Mother's day (UK). She ran out of the front door and we lost her.....or so we thought! As you can imagine, I was totally grief stricken and the next day, I called the local dog's home, police and the dog warden. Logging her details several times to each of the above authorities was really sad for me as I kept 'seeing her' and I started to miss loads of things that she used to do. Over a week later, we got a call from someone just a couple of streets away after she had (and she had no idea why she did this) called into Petsmart where my daughter had placed an emotional ad. She called, we went round to her house and there was Cooks in her living room - she was sooo excited to see me - then the questions started about where she slept, I told the lady that Cooks slept in my room, but she wasn't allowed to do that at her house and spent the entire weeknights there in a basket in the kitchen - Cooks was soo exhausted when she came back home and was sleeping all the time. Needless to say, she is back to her old self and all is well again - I have never missed a pet so much in my life. Cookie & Paul |
It is so nice to hear a happy ending to a lost Yorkie. I'm so glad you got her back. |
