A Question About Traveling and Places To Stay Hi I am new at this. My amazing Yorkie is all of eight months he is a fantastic and wonderful companion and great family member. But my husband without thinking, booked a 4night trip to Vegas at the end of the month which is in 2 weeks. Well honestly I have my mother and three teen/adults 15-19 they are great with him and all but I want him with me. Any answers? Please help |
Have you solved the problem? Sorry no one answered. I think that you accidently put your question in the wrong section. You can goggle "pet lodging" and the city you want to board in. I just did that and found pet lodging in Plano, TX where we'll be going to visit our son and family. My son is going to check the places out for me. |
Thanks very much I just love my little guy everyday that goes by it seems to get harder to possibly leave him with my kids. I appreciate you getting back to me. |
There is an on-going thread in General Discussion about boarding your pet at the vet. A lot of members have had bad experiences, including me. Keep that in mind as you search for a place. |
Here is a place in Vegas that provides cageless boarding. http://www.doghotel.net/index.html Some other links:) http://www.vacationhomes.com/pet-fri...ation-rentals/ http://www.petsonthego.com/index.htm http://www.petfriendlytravel.com/ http://www.findpetcare.com/se/ |
Again thanks its really funny how much I have been learning here on Yorkie Talk after buying so many books and magizines and reading so much. Nothing has informed me as well as the hands on people that I have read from the notes and letters here. Thanks again for the heads up. I am trying and everyday is so different then the day before. I have always had sheppards so this is my first small dog, and honestly its not just me but my husband and my children are having trouble getting used to our tiny 4lb bundle of joy. He is always a pleasure. Its so wonderful though, we keep forgetting that he is growing inside that tiny body. Again thanks for your help its really appreciated. |
