Bear's video thread We've taped videos of Bear as he learn new tricks, so I thought I'll create a thread here and update it when I get new videos... Here are what I have so far in chronological order.

I'm so totally jealous!! Bear is so great at doing tricks already! Mocha knows how to sit and shake a paw, but it's nearly impossible to get him to lay down :p When I lure him by bringing the treat to the ground, only his head goes down and not his body  |
Oh, I forgot to ask...how much does Bear weigh now? I remember when they were about 8 or 9 weeks old and Shari told me that Bear and Mocha were about the same size, but Bear was a little shorter. Mocha is 2.2lbs pounds now at 20 weeks. |
haven't weighted him for like a month, last time we weighted him at the vet he was a bit under 3 pounds, I think he is definitely over 3 pounds now. His hair is also getting long and pretty! :) have you started puppy school? We bring him to puppy kindergarden and it really helps. The school (SF Puppy Prep) also have puppy happy hours twice a week and he gets to go play with other puppies. I also found out the pet store a block away from my apartment actually has puppy classes too, so we will bring Bear there instead of SF Puppy Prep after he graduates from kindergarden. It's much closer (don't need to drive!) and he will get to play with other pups in the neighborhood, so later on he will have friends at the park. :) |
He is definately a doll, and his coat looks really nice, too! Mocha has been to about 4 puppy classes already. We have 2 more classes to go. I always get so nervous when they have off leash play time. The other dogs are so much bigger than them (Golden Retriever, Alaskan Malamute and a Min Pin). It's good socialization for them, but my heart just races whenever the Alaskan Malamute or Golden Retriever go near him  How has Bear been when he's around bigger dogs? Quote:

In class they usually only let Bear play with the smaller dogs, Bear is okay playing with bigger pups but sometimes the bigger pups like the labs just play a bit too rough... at happy hours he plays with pups of all sizes and he is fine... I guess after a while the bigger pups figure out how to play with small dogs. the play time and happy hours are supervised so we feel better, you have no idea how nervous we get when he plays with bigger doggies especially considering how we lost Fee-Fee to a pitbull... |
very cute. Good job Bear! |
We just got a Flip Ultra, one of the coolest things ever, highly recommended! Here are more videos!! :aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
