and my yorkie came in and started barking at my computer when he heard the barking. Now he's sitting under my feet just in case "that dog" comes back.:aimeeyork

I am so happy that Natalie is doing better. It sure was amazing to see her running, jumping and barking! Lulu got so excited when she heard Natalie that she started running through the house!!

:jump28ib::jump28ib::jump28ib:YAY!!!!! I just did a search for Natalie and found these! Dena! I am sooooooo delighted to see you here posting those adorable videos of little Natalie. Seeing them again just makes me smile wider:D at all that cuteness.
It's just the absolute best news that Natalie will not require surgery and that she tested negative for liver shunt. There are so many dogs that live full lives despite "Asthma-type" disorders, so we expect to watch this little girl grow up on YT for many years to come.:D

Is she still a little jealous of Gracie? Tell her she has to appreciate how Gracie encouraged her sooo much in the beginning, when she didn't feel like eating/standing/doing anything at all on her own!:woof: I think Gracie was like Natie's rechargeable battery....LOL.

Give that little Angel a big smoosh from me and welcome back to YT!!

Oh what wonderful news and what a big bark from such a tiny little baby! But stay in outta the wind unless you are tethered to something! lol

I think you should give Gracie the middle name of Angel because she must be Natalie's guardian angel.

So glad to see your post and loved the video.

I am so happy to see that Baby Natalie is doing so much better. I loved seeing the videos, my eyes welled up with tears watching her run around the yard. We're still sending prayers for a full recovery.

so you did all this testing at the OSU's veterinary hospital?

Seems like it was a lucky false alarm and little Natalie is just fine ...
In the video, one would never know there was anything wrong ever ... bless her heart!

so many other babies on in are seriously ill, let's pray for them ....

Yes, OSU was fabulous and took exceptional care of little Natalie.... the heart is still enlarged, but again, no symptoms of heart disease so they're not sure why at this point..... the pneumonia is GONE all but a little whispy wheeze here and there - she is still on the meds - - - - and the collapsing mainstem bronchi (not trachia) will always be an issue for her as surgery for her at this point, is not an option.... so we continue with the albuteral on a twice daily basis and hope for the best! She's doing beautifully.... eating but still not gaining... she IS back up to her "average weight" of 25 ounces now!! YAY!! And is now 30 weeks old. We couldn't be more blessed!!!

Natalie and Gracie are FINALLY able to really playyyyyy together!!! Sweet Gracie has learned to be a bit more gentle with Nat than she needs to be with Cecilia and seems to know that when Natalie "takes a nose dive" or "plays dead", it's time to jump off for a minute or two!!

They are doing beautifully together and we couldn't be more pleased!!

Here they are - rough housing a little bit before a MUCH NEEDED bubble bath to get ready for a few Christmas pictures!

You have no idea how happy I am to see that Nat is strong enough to play like that with Gracie. I am so very delighted for you that Natalie has made such excellent progress!!

Thanks everyone :) We're thrilled that all is going so smoothly with the two of them... I had a few worries early on....

What gets me is that they can play like that for an hour or more and NEVER MAKE A PEEP!!! haha..... sooooooo quiet.... but when Gracie plays with Cessy it's like a yapathon!! LOL

We're starting to have a lot of fun with them!! I could watch them for hours and hours.... it's so funny to see the TOTALLY different demeanor that Gracie uses when in play with Nat vs. playing with the other dogs.... it's so sweet that she is able... and now WILLING - to "adapt" her behavior to the "simpler" play that Natalie can handle! Amazes me to watch them...

They are so cute. When I was watching the video I was thinking how QUIET they were. When Lacy plays like that she makes these growling noises and can be so loud! I'm so glad Natalie is doing much better. I want to see their Christmas pictures!
