Aww Mike, I had no idea you were taking Rusty! So glad he's found a wonderful home with you and Megan can still keep in touch!! :)

What a hoot - Eddie finally got the BIG brother he always wanted. Those two boys will have more fun playing "catch away" from each other.:D

P.S. Please don't tell Jack he can't pee higher than Rusty..you don't want to hurt his ego..you know how men are when you discuss size or height in this case.:eek:

Rusty had a good first night. He was pretty tired from his travel day, so he fell asleep on the couch while we were watching TV. Then he didn't raise a fuss when we sneaked off to bed with Eddie & Jack

Eddie and Jack are just a little quieter than usual. No aggression whatsover, just a little unsure, so I decided to let Rusty sleep apart from the rest of us this first night. He did great. He slept through the night, and though he rose earlier than I did, he didn't whine for attention. I got up one to reassure him, then went back to bed for a couple hours.

Now it's off for our walk to the park.
This is wonderful!! Rusty sounds like an awesome doggie, and sounds like he's going to fit in just fine. Wow, could you have asked for a better first night! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Congratulations on your new addition. I'm sure this is so very comforting to Megan to hear that Rusty is at ease in his new home! :)

Great videos. Glad to see it looks like every thing is going to work out just fine. Again, what an amazing man you are. (but I will admit it must be your better half making you the man you are!!;)
One more thing......That Moose poop in the video doesn't look like the Moose poop we have in our backyard!:D

Oh this is great! Rusty sniffs moose poo. Who would've tho't that's what it looked like! Not me.:rolleyes: Thank you for the videos. Your wife does a great job following y'all around. Hope she has good boots. :D

Megan! You found the best Daddi for Rusty! Great job young lady! I know you will miss hugging him and playing with him but I know you will find so much comfort and laughter watching him play with your bestest buddy in Alaska!

Seeing Rusty wag his tail and playing with Eddie is so much fun! And look at Jack on the teeter just trying to get as tall as possible!

Mike, I've noticed in the last few video's that you invested in a tri-pod... Wow! If I set mine up and walked away like you do, I wouldn't have ANY videos to show you all. It would get snagged away before I can turn around to make sure it's recording!

Ha, I was wondering who was gonna bust me on that! A friend who studied television video in school made me swear I would use a tripod if I got a good video camera. He says the camera shake is just too annoying to look professional.

It's tough to do that with action, but it works great for stuff like these. I'm sure the neighbors think I'm a loon. Then again, they thought that before I got the video camera! :p

Wonderful moments with laughter, tears and laughter again. I cannot imagine how Megan and her family must be feeling, but I hope the joy was watching Rusty playing, wagging his tail will help their aching hearts.

You are right, Mike...you bonded immediately with Rusty. He is a very sweet pup. PS Your nickname Nanook jogged my memory of the old movie. Guess what is out there to watch?

Uh, what's wrong with these pictures?

Jack immediately staked claim to Rusty's new bed, and Rusty is lying on Jack's blanket at the top of the doggie stairs.
