Meetup at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, MD...Sunday, June 7, 11:00ish

Brister, LuvmyYorkies2 and I will be heading out to Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis if anyone would like to join us. We were going to get together today but that didn't work out soooo, we're going to do this next Sunday instead and hopefully this will give more folks a heads up and come out and join us!

If you are interested in joining us, please let anyone one of us know by pm so we can get an idea of how many may be coming out.

None of us have been to Quiet Waters, but I've heard that it is a really nice park and it has an area specifically for small dogs.

I don't know but I think that this will be the areas first planned meetup, so let's make it a good one!

Awww I would love to meet up! But my best friend is having her baby shower that day, so I can't make it!! Maybe next time..my Bella needs some Yorkie friends! :-)

It will be so nice to meet some members from our area. I sent PM's to a couple of maryland/VA/DC members also in case they have no plans and can join us. This is kind of an impromptu meeting but it would definitely be nice to see as many as we can come out. Then hopefully we can plan a more formal one next time with everyone!! :D but I will be there....

I would love to come! It'd be great to meet people with yorkies from around here. I have a season pass, and they have a great park for small dogs, and lots of hiking and walking trails as well:)

You're in Crofton? How cool to see somewhere on here from Crofton lol. I grew up there. In Davidsonville now.

Does it cost money to get into Quiet Waters?

It costs $5.00 per car to enter the park. I called today and asked.

If you live in the area, it's good to buy a season pass...it's only $30 or $35...it's def worth it! The only day it's not open is on Tuesday. There's lots to do besides the dog park!

Annapolis is a lovely city, and a nice drive. Of course, I'm not sure yet, but would love to join you all.

What is required for entrance to the dog park? I know that at one of ours, dogs must be wearing their rabies tags.

Of course you would be welcome & we would love to meet you!!! :D The more, the merrier. Now I wish I would have taken off tomorrow from my part time job. I'm going but will have to leave no later than 2PM...sounds like so much to do...what fun!!

How nice to see someone else in the are? Welcome to YT...I see you just joined...You'll deifinitely like it here!! I'm in Southern Maryland(Brandywine/Waldorf) area. Quiet Waters definitely sounds like fun!!!

Aww man! Rules say only 2 dogs per person so I have the task of choosing which 2 I am going to bring. I was going to bring 3. 2 of my girls are in heat so I wasn't going to bring them anyway as the rules state that also so at least that makes it easier...:rolleyes:

Ugh, stupid job. lol. I still haven't gotten my schedule for this week coming up so I still don't know if I'll be able to go.
