I have a little 7 month old girl pup - Bella! I am definitely in meeting with other owners and yorkies in the MD area. I live in the Laurel/College Park area, and I don't mind traveling!

No one has made plans to meet up yet.....maybe soon since it's warming up and this rain will be gone.

There is a really great park in Annapolis called Quiet Waters. They have 2 separate fenced in areas, one for big dogs that is HUGE and one for little dogs that is not as huge but still huge.. they also have a dog beach there.. Also lots of nice trails to walk along. I live near Laurel and my baby and I are always game for meeting new friends. My boy is a little ladies man..

I don't have a yorkie but I have a four pound maltese and we go to yorkie meetups because she needs socialization too. We are also in Northern VA. There are many small dog meetups in your area. :)

I live in Lancaster, Pa. It's about a 3 hour drive, But, If it were on a Sunday it sounds like fun. I have a 17m.o. male Yorkie named Baron who is getting neutered on Tuesday, May 12. I also have a 7 1/2 y.o. neutered Papilllion named Sammy and on Monday I pick-up my 16 m.o. spayed little girl in Arkansas. Her name right now is Sophie and I think we're going to add Kennedy for a middle name. Rudy'sMom- {Dawn} lives near me and we could come together. It sounds like it would be fun. Let me know...Jodi :)

Since you are from PA will you be attending this Yorkie Day Pre-registration Print-out

I'm thinking about going to it. My parents live in PA and it isn't too far from them.

LOL a little ladies man huh?! that's so cute..well he would love my Bella. She has an ABUNDANCE of energy. When I went to get her from the breeder, he had two females and a male, and I watched them for a little while before I went to pick out my female, and she went to lay down and the others were still playing at 9:30p! I said, oh that's my dog..she was so laid back..she would still play, but go and relax when she just didn't want to...but now, she runs around like crazy and ALWAYS wants to play! hahaha.

I'm socializing her more now! i can't wait until the sun comes out so we all can meet up and have a fun day!!

Hi all, I live in Southern Maryland (Brandywine/Waldorf) and it would definitely be good to have a little meetup for our region, especially since the weather is getting nice.

How about some time in late June, or mid-July(since independence day is the 4th). Everyone should look at their calendars and let's throw out a date.

we can chose a park that is fairly neutral or someone's backyard if it's big enough, not many of us, and someone wants to offer that up ;). We can each bring a small refreshment or snack, etc. Let's do it!!!

Let's all check back in to this thread by the end of this week with some date suggestions...how's that??!! :D We can start there...
