Today was a sad day in our family. We had to put our basset hound Maggie to sleep. Our yorkies loved her so much no one hardly touched their food tonight. Our 6 month old puppy is looking all over the house for her. She had congestive heart failure and some tumors. We will miss her very much Maggie was a wonderful dog and loved our littel furbabies like they were her own. She let them pull on her big floppy ears never growlilng at them one time. Please keep our family in your prayer we have a 12 year old daughter and Maggie was 12 years old too this is very hard on our daughter and our dogs and cats too.

:hands: :hands: :hands: for your family and especially for your daughter. Maggie sounds like she was a very special member of your family. Now she is at Rainbow Bridge free of pain and happily playing with all the other animals who are there, just waiting to be reunited with their loving families.

What a sad day for your family. Maggie sounds like she was loved very much. We will be praying for your family--sounds like this is going to be really rough, especially for your daughter. :(

I'm so very, very sorry your going thru such a terrible time. I know it's much harder on kids, as they just don't understand the "why" of it all.
We just lost our Chihuahua last month who would have been 16 years old Dec. 11th and our two Yorkies kept a very low profile and just wondered around the house and yard looking for her. They didn't even wag their nubs for two days. I know they felt our pain, and of course saw our tears. It's like losing a family member for sure.

I am so sorry for your loss. They truly become family members and everyone grieves. I will be praying for your daughter that she comes to the realization that he is gone and that she will see him again someday. He is in a better place free of pain and suffering.
