Kim, I am so sorry to hear about Carli. You did the best you could for her. Warn people to stay away from that vet.:thumbdown

:( :( :( :( that has to be so devestating to think about...again - I'm so sorry for your loss. I would warn everyone I know too about that vet...maybe put a post up in the Review section for others to see ??

Thanks to all new condolenses since my last post and I have not heard one word from our ex vet about Carlee. Guess that justs goes to show you how much she cares.

Thanks again everyone. We did hear from our ex vet. She sent us a bill for Carlee's last visit. O.K., I know she needs to run a business, but would it have hurt to send a sympathy note? She know's what happened to Carlee. She was notified by the emergency vet.

Speaking of the emergency vet, my daughter and I went there tonight. I needed to speak with the vet who treated Carlee, to pay our bill and to pick up Carlee's ashes. Considering the circumstances, I suppose it went as well as expected, of course I cried. I miss my poor little girl so.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry....I can imagine how hard this was for you. A sympathy note was definitely in order from Carlee's vet. Some vets...I just can't believe all of this. It really is a nightmare, but time heals...Little by little, it will get better. I know you will always miss Carlee, but she's in heaven watching over you now.

BIG HUGS to you. I am so sorry to hear about dear Carlee. We lost one in February to a liver shunt. He was roughly 9 weeks old. And both the vet AND our ER vet sent us sympathy cards - I have kept them dear to me. I so wish that everyone could have my vet, he's so good. But we value him so much because we've also had very bad vet experiences in the past. We know how lucky we are, and we would share him with everyone here on YT if they were in the area.

So, here's some more HUGS to you, and keep Cooper safe and happy. I know you love him and hold him close to your heart, especially during this time.

I probably shouldn't be reading posts about the loss of a Yorkie when I just lost mine last week; but I just couldn't stop myself. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find peace in knowing that Carlee is no longer in pain and she hopefully she is keeping my Abby company until I can be with her again!

I lost my Starr to a crappy vet, I thought he was wonderful until he totally dropped the ball with my baby:cry: I found a great vet now, though.

Nine weeks old, how very sad. I'm so sorry for your loss as well. I would never visit either this forum or the sick and injured one before this because I found it just too painful but now I find comfort here with others who have been through a beautiful Yorkies death as well.

Hi Angela,

I see that your Yorkie lived to be 18, how wonderful for you to have loved and enjoyed yours for so long. That's all I ever wanted for Carlee, to love her for many years but, it was not meant to be I guess. Someone is testing my strength and little by little it seems to be working.

My heartfelt condolences go out to you,
