I am so sorry for your tragic loss. It is never easy but when they leave us so early it is especially hard. |
:( :( :( :( she was so young :( :( :( I'm SO SORRY for your loss - she sounds very special and you have my condolences. I can't imagine how you're feeling right now :( Rest in Peace Piper.... |
I am so sorry for your sudden loss. I can tell Piper was very precious to your family. I completely understand your feeling of emptiness right now. When we had to put our 15 year old toy poodle down, it hit me so much harder than I expected. It does take time to heal and this site is a good one to get the support you need. God bless! |
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved pet Piper. She was so young. I hope your pain heals swiftly and your daughter does deceide to get another Yorkie. Piper will always hold that special place in your hearts but a new pup might ease the pain. Welcome to YT. There is always someone here to help no matter what you need. Carol & Buddy |
I am sorry for your loss and feel for your daughter and family. I have a daughter and she is so attached, so I can only imagine. God bless. |

My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. So terribly sorry for your loss of Piper. |
We share your tears. I am so sorry you lost your sweet baby. |
Dear Piper's Family, I would like to offer my condolences to you all. Losing your Piper is surely devastating. I too have just lost my almost 11 year old Molly Muffins but 1 month ago. It is still hard to believe she is gone, and I miss her constantly. I still cry for her. I still see all her favorite spots around the house, miss driving with her in the car over to Grandma's or Aunties house. She was such a HUGE part of my life. I miss her snuggles and kisses, and the conversations we would have~yes she really understood me! :) It has gotten a little better, but it has been so painful losing her. The most help and comfort that I have received has been from the wonderful community here on YorkiTalk. The messages of support and understanding were felt deeply by me. My vet told us that if we ever get another dog, that we will probably feel guilty at first. At the dog show a breeder said we would probably feel like we are cheating on Molly. But she said it was normal and that the best way to honor Molly is to get another one to love. My vet said that if he was reincarnated as a dog, there were only about 10 homes that he would want to go to, and that we were right at the top of that list. That really made me feel good. Recently, we received a letter from the MSU Companion Animal fund expressing their sorrow for our loss and to let us know that our vet had made a contribution in Molly Muffins name. I was so touched and it still brings me to tears. Molly was his patient from sun-up to sun-down. We are now looking for another Yorkie. At first, we thought we would switch to a different breed, since Molly is a hard act to follow. But after looking at the dog show, my husband said, I think we need another Yorkie. :) It will be weird to have another little Yorkie taking over Molly's turf. But being without a Yorkie is even worse. Sorry to be so long winded. Big Hug, |
I was so touched by this post. What an eloquent tribute to Piper! Rest in Peace, little one.:rbyorkie: |
Thank you all, again. Good morning everyone. You all have shared so much of yourselves in your posts, and it is very appreciated by my family. For those of you who have lost your furkids, also, I am so sorry. I know each and everyone of them was a special and much loved member of your family. It is so hard not to have them with us anymore. Thanks again for your warm wishes and prayers. I think sometimes we don't realize how much an annonymous kind word can mean to someone, but, it can really make a difference in someone's life. |

I read "It's Okay to Cry" and write in a daily journal. My groomer told me you will miss her every day, other loveys will come into your life and capture your heart. Sophie will always be held in a special place because she was my first Yorkie and waited months to find her. Bless you. PS Guess this wonderful website found me, just as another sweetheart will find me. |
