We will see our babies again.... We will see our precious furbabies again at: THE RAINBOW BRIDGE Just this side of heaven, there is a bridge, connecting Heaven and Earth, called Rainbow Bridge.*When a cherished pet passes away, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass for all of our special friends, so they can run and play together. There is always plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our pets are warm and comfortable. All the animals, who had been ill and old, are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. . The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing. They each miss someone very special to them, who had loved them on Earth and had to be left behind. So they run and play until the day comes, when ONE suddenly stops and looks off into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent! Her nose twitches! Her ears are up! Her eager body begins to quiver! Suddenly, she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster... . YOU have been spotted! And when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. Your face is kissed again and again, your hands caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the adoring eyes of your trusting pet, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. . Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....* |
Since the first time I read that I got chills and still do.....When my sons little dog Mikey was in an emergency at the vets and they couldn't save him.... I faxed it to my son and he read it to his baby as he crossed to the Bridge....I'll never forget his face that day. :( :( :( :( :( |
