OMG I'm SO SO SORRY ! That was just heartbreaking to read and I know must have been just awful to go thru....:( :( :( :( poor baby...May she rest in peace and know NO pain. |
I am so sorry for your loss of Star. Your Luna is just beautiful and even tho she will never fill the hole in your heart left by Star, she will give you warm puppy kisses and make you feel better. |
Oh, hon, I'm so sorry. My heart just breaks for you. It's tough!:( |
Im so sorry for your loss. |
Loosing a furbaby can sure break your heart! So sorry about the loss of your baby. Things like this can happen. As with a family, you don't have time to sit with them 24/7. glad you decided to get another baby. they can sure help your heart heal! |
To Luna the Moon I don't know why things happen nor do I ask I just say it was God's will. I read a post that said "Love will never die". I believe that Star knew that she was loved and nothing you could of done can bring back the past. You have Luna (the moon) that is the light let it shine. Be blessed in that light. |
I am so sorry for your loss. I cried over reading your story. I don't come to this thread very often because it breaks my heart knowing all the sorrow every one is going through. I to am a first time furbaby mommy. We got Misha in Jan & Piper in June. I know if anything ever happened to one of them, it would be devastating. I hope Luna helps with your loss of Starr. You did all you could do for Starr, It was just her time. Someday, I believe we will be with them again. |
I'm so sorry for your loss, it's heart breaking. My heart goes out to you and your family. Enjoy your little girl, she came in your life for a reason. R.I.P. Little Starr! |
Im so sorry for your loss of Star, im glad Luna is helping you with your grief. My thoughts are with you xx |
I am so sorry for your loss of Starr, just reading your story breaks my heart..Please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathy...Your Luna is just too cute for words. |
I'm so sorry for your loss of Starr, may she rest in peace. I'm glad you have a new cute puppy to help heal your heart. It's never easy to lose a beloved pet. Please change vets! I lost two dogs due to a vet's lack of intelligence. I beat myself up and still feel guilty years later. I've learned so much from this forum. Hugs, Jessica |
Don't worry, I won't ever use that vet again! He was nice enough, but now that Starr's gone, I realize looking back that he isn't very knowledgeable about toy breeds, and how quickly they can go downhill:( I found a wonderful new vet for Luna, he used to own Yorkies and was recommended with glowing reviews by a local Yorkie breeder that I found online and I called and asked her. Thanks again to all of you wonderful Yorkie parents. You have no idea how much being here has helped me to deal with all of this. God Bless each and every one of you! |
I am so sorry for your loss of Star! I hope Luna helps your heart heal. She is adorable. |
I\'m so sorry for your loss and know exactly how you feel....I lost Bentley back on the 26th of October and while I did everything I could, I wonder if his illness could have been better diagnosed. He was only 2.5 years old and such a joy. I\'ve beat myself up over the last few days and have decided that if and when I get another Yorkie, I will not be going back to the same vet. While he is a wonderful man and great with animals, I just don\'t see how Bentley\'s constant struggle with diarrhea didn\'t raise a red flag. I was thrilled to hear you got another furbaby and how its eased the pain. I miss Bentley desperately and spending time at home has been so lonely without him. I\'m just now getting my feet wet and considering a new baby. Good luck to both of you - Starr\'s probably already met Bentley over the Rainbow Bridge and I\'m sure they are playing together, healthy and happy.... |
I\'m so sorry about Bentley:cry: It\'s a miserable feeling, I know:( I suggest that you ask a few breeders in your area which vet they\'d recommend. That\'s what I did and I\'m very happy with Luna\'s new vet, he used to have Yorkies and knows small breeds very very well. I grilled him at her first appointment with him yesterday and he really knows his stuff! Starr\'s vet was pretty clueless, I now realize. When I asked him if I should give her Nutrical since she wouldn\'t eat, he was like um yeah sure. So that right there should have told me to seek a second opinion right away and I failed to do that:( I learned some hard lessons with Starr\'s death, so her death was "not in vain". I wish you peace, and you will know when it\'s time to find another baby to love:love: It sure has helped me to have Luna, even though I hated the idea at first. I wish my husband would have let me catch my breath first, but what\'s done is done. Hugs to you!!!!! I\'m sure that all of our Yorkies are in the VIP section of Rainbow Bridge, and rightly so!:aimeeyork :aimeeyork |
