I'm with saleswman, a lot of "healthy" yorkies, just passing away in thier own yard for no reason at all.

That must have been awful to find Gidget like that, I'm so so sorry. Lighting a candle for you and your family, and will keep you in my prayers.

Please let us know if you took her to the vet to find the cause of this. It may help you in the future, and would help some of us to know what to watch for in our own yards.

No, you are not weird. My Reggie died April 4th. She was seven and the love of my life. She left me 5 baby girls to raise. I had her wrapped in a fleece blanket for over a week in the garage.......it was below freezing........ I couldn\'t bear the thought of burying her in the ground and all of a sudden I decided to have her cremated. She now sits beside me at the computer, just like she always did.

I want to add that YT will provide you with so much support and help you get through the tough times. I found that writing about my Reggie helped me greatly, along with the determination to see her baby girls grow up. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
