When I lost Gidget that is all I could think of for days, everything made me think of her. It was hard to fall asleep at night cause she slept with me. It seemed I didn't know what to do with myself cause she was such a part of my everyday life. I couldn't stand it, it was like my house was empty, I couldn't here little feet on the tile floor following me around, so I needed another one. I got Ritzie several weeks later. She kept me very busy and it really helped. Of course she would do things and it would remind me of Gidget and I felt guilty right at first, but then I realized Ritzie needs to be loved too. I am so glad I decided to get her, she has brought so much joy. I still miss Gidget very much, but like I said Ritzie is a joy and keeps me very busy. She has her own personality so you love them just as much. Good luck and my prayers are with you. |
