The loss of my Romeo...
 
On August 25, our 13 week old Yorkie, Romeo drown in our pool.

I was gone for 25 minutes picking up pizza with my middle son (it was his bday). We came home to my daughter, son and husband crying. He must have slipped out the doorwall.

It was so sad and tragic. HORRIBLE. I miss him so much.

We got Juliet 4 days later, and it has changed our sorrow to happiness.

Sorry for your loss. My sister just lost her pup named Romeo too. (He was a cocker spaniel though.) My Juliet is helping us heal through Romeo's death too.

Thanks you guys. I can not even express the horrible pain I felt when he died. The kids and I just cried and cried. It was so horribly tragic, and to make matters worse, my 11 year old found him. :(

Romeo was easier to train than Juliet has been, as far as potty training. Juliet already knows how to sit and she knows "dance". She gets on her hind legs and dances around for a treat! LOL

Anyway, at least we were able to get another one right away and my kids don't cry out of the blue for Romeo.

I am so sorry...that must have been hard to go through, I can only imagine the pain it caused. I am sure Juliet will give you something to smile about everyday :) It just goes to show that you have to watch their every move, they are sneaky!!!!

EXACTLY! It was a hard, horrible lesson to learn, but we take it into consideration everyday. We are very, very careful with Juliet.

It just makes me so sad, Romeo was just irreplacable!

I'm so sorry you lost your little Romeo. Even tho Juliet won't fill the hole the loss of Romeo left in your hearts, she will help you all heal by making your hearts a little bigger. God bless you all, and GodSpeed Baby Romeo.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Little Romeo is a doll - I remember seeing that photo of your daughter holding him. I'm glad that Juliet is helping to fill the void. I hope she is with you for a very long time.

Im so sorry for your loss of little Romeo, these things happen for a reason, we might not know why, but he was obviously needed in rainbrowbridge, im pleased Juliet is bringing happiness into your life, and helping to mend your broken heart :(

I'm so deeply sorry to hear about Romeo, he sure is a cutie. He is now playing with all his yorkie friends in heaven and he will continue to look over you and your family.

Bless his heart...:( poor little guy. He was a very cute boy and now He's an angel ...I'm so sorry for your loss....that just had to be devestating.

Thank you again, so much. It was VERY painful and VERY tragic. I miss him so much.

When I started looking for a new pup after he died, I had went to a few breeders homes, and I think I was trying to find one that looked exactly like him. I came to the realization that I wasn't going to find it.

I went to this one lady's house and she had 2 boys and one girl. The two boys sold right before I got there, and she had the little girl left, who is Juliet now. She took right to me, and I knew she was our dog. It was nice to get a little girl, now I'm not expecting her to be JUST like Romeo. Yanno?
