One Year Today marks the one-year anniversary of the passing of my special little Bumpy. :tinyheart He was a 16-year-old special Yorkie who spent all but the first 4 months of his life with my husband and me. He was, as all our furbabies are, a member of the family. Definitely a Mommy's boy, wanting to come to me for his special attention. As he grew older, he slowed down and lost most of his vision and hearing in one ear. It didn't stop him from being a special sweetheart. I miss him very much. Fortunately, Sean came into our home 5 months ago, never replacing Bumpy and his brother (Spock passed away the previous year), but filling a void in both our hearts and home. He has a different personality than both of them, though all the typical Yorkie traits! It's so good to have a place that I can "voice" my feelings today, where I know many will understand. :rbyorkie: :rip: |
Aw, I'm so sorry you lost 2 little boys. 16 years certainly qualifies Bumpy as a real family member. I'm sure he had a happy, fulfilling, loving life, as did Spock. Sean will certainly help fill that void in his own special way. HUGS! |
Thank you!!!:animal36 |
We feel for your family and your loss of Bumpy. We all love our babies so much, yet we know we won't have them forever. I still miss my Wimbley as much now as I did the day she died almost 5 years ago. :angelyork Time will ease the pain. It sounds like you gave Bumpy a lot of love during his life and like Sean has found his place too in your hearts! Rest knowing you are still loved and remembered, little Bumpy...:2hearts2: |
It is a sad day when that first anniversary rolls around. Bumpy sounds so much like my Yorkie, Koko who had to be put to sleep last summer...he was also 16 years. (((Hugs))) to you, I know how you miss him.:rose: RIP Bumpy and Spock.:rbyorkie: Karen |
I'm sorry for your loss. May God bless your heart. |
