Still missing my Little Eli 1 Attachment(s) Hi all...it's been awhile since I have posted. I came across this photo at my parents house and had to scan and post it. This was taken maybe when he was 5. He was 13 when he passed. I miss him so much and it seems my grieving is taking place many months after his death. It's been 6 months now....:aimeeyork I just wanted to share. This is one of my fav pictures. ~angeleli~ |

1 Attachment(s) He's just adorable and I'm so sorry for your loss.... I don't want to make you cry but I had to frame & lighten your pic of him for you....he's a beautiful little guy.... Rest in Peace Eli .....I know you're watching over your mom now with all the other little RB angels.... |
Thank you Red98vett - Wow, that was so sweet of you to frame my little sweet Eli. I miss him so much.... :aimeeyork It seem so hard that even though I have other furbabies....nothing can replace this little guy. It's just not the same. I had surgery on my foot 3 weeks ago and I was having a hard night one night last week and the only thing I wanted was my little Eli by my side. He was the only one that could comfort me during these times. I sat in bed and just cried because when he was around he knew when I needed him most. It just breaks my heart that he is gone. |
What a sweet, beautiful boy he was. We never stop missing them. My Koko has been gone a year now and I still think about him every day. I came across this poem and found it comforting...hope it helps you to see that we will see them again. BEYOND THE RAINBOW I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade. I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity. I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side Were meadows rich and beautiful--lush and green and wide! And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be! My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do. I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm all right That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night. 'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold. For although we may not be together in the way we used to be, We are still connected by a cord no eye can see. So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart. C.G. 1995 :rbyorkie: |

Memorial Poem For All Our Precious Pets Written by me Patti on May 26,2006 This is dedicated in honor and memory of all our precious pets. Bless the house I lived in Lord, the one that I called home the people there who really cared, they were a family all my own. Bless the little children who snuggled me to sleep Gently said their prayers- thanking God their soul to keep. Bless their Mother and her many tasks undone To take the time to hug, romp, play with me and run. Bless their Father for all the love he shows, to his family plus me Oh how Blessed I am to live in a home such as you have provided it to be. How I loved my family and forever grateful I will be They set a fine example of love for all the world to see. I only ask one favor Lord, please guide my family on their way Let them Remember the happy times, lest I could not stay. Thank you Lord for preparing this beautiful heaven for eternity One day my family and I will abide here, forever with thee. Ones blind implicit faith in you, is matched only by your love The kind that all of us should have, in the spirit of above. When our life goes on beyond to join our other loved ones there Let us rejoice together united in prayer. Thank you God for all you did to set our souls free Bringing Jesus into this world, allowing this for you, you, and me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cassie would have been 11 years tomorrow this is her first birthday in her forever eternal home. In writing this poem I hoped it would give some comfort to those that have had to give up a precious one. Patti |

I lost a pet a few years ago so I know how it feels. Post a pic of him whenever you want and we can all tell you how cute he is and what a wonderful pet he was to you. |
