Memorial Poem For All Our Precious Pets

This is dedicated in honor and memory of all our precious pets.


Bless the house I lived in Lord, the one that I called home
the people there who really cared, they were a family all my own.

Bless the little children who snuggled me to sleep
Gently said their prayers- thanking God their soul to keep.

Bless their Mother and her many tasks undone
To take the time to hug, romp, play with me and run.

Bless their Father for all the love he shows, to his family plus me
Oh how Blessed I am to live in a home such as you have provided it to be.

How I loved my family and forever grateful I will be
They set a fine example of love for all the world to see.

I only ask one favor Lord, please guide my family on their way
Let them Remember the happy times, lest I could not stay.

Thank you Lord for preparing this beautiful heaven for eternity
One day my family and I will abide here, forever with thee.

Ones blind implicit faith in you, is matched only by your love
The kind that all of us should have, in the spirit of above.

When our life goes on beyond to join our other loved ones there
Let us rejoice together united in prayer.

Thank you God for all you did to set our souls free
Bringing Jesus into this world, allowing this for you, you, and me.

Cassie would have been 11 years tomorrow this is her first
birthday in her forever eternal home. In writing this
poem I hoped it would give some comfort to those that have
had to give up a precious one. Patti

Thank you for sharing that. You made me cry, but that's ok. I loved my Bandit and I cry when I think of him, but that's better than not thinking of him at all. Happy Birthday in Heaven Cassie!

How wonderful to know that the same God who created us to be forever in his love, always intended for the whole cretion to eternally rejoice in Him. Nothing can ever be lost that is committed to the Lord, and so we do, with all hope look forward to his soon appearing and the wiping away of every tear. Thank you all for your care, prayers and comfort.

So beautiful Patti... You have put into words what was in my heart. Thank you for sharing your poem with us.

Each of babies are precious and your words are sure to bring comfort to them as it has to me.

I had tears in my eyes before I was finished reading. Thank you for sharing it with us. My Nighean is free from pain, I know, and watching over us. There are some days that are still so difficult.

I know your baby and mine are up there playing together.

Seven Months Today RIP Precious Cassie
 

It has been seven months today since Cassie left us, the time we had with her will forever be a treasure to us, God truely blessed us with such joy in her lifetime with us. We had to get another precious yorkie, Baby Blessing, she really has been such a comfort and we love her dearly although I must say Cassie took part of our heart with her, I find myself crying often missing her but ever so grateful that I know and Believe with all my heart that we have such a loving God that she is forever in HIS care. I thank God for giving us all such a big heart and one full of love to enable us to bring Baby Blessing into our lives to carry on the love that we have for these precious ones. Crazy as it may sound to some, have found friends to not understand, however I know others here can. Yes, I can feel the warmth of Cassie as though she still is with me. My heart aches for her but it is comfort to know where she went when she had to leave us. To others that have gone through what we have, my prayers are with you too. This is my favorite picture of Cassie. Patti
