My little sunny boy
 

It's been 11 days since my baby was snatched away from me. We were out for our early morning walk and he was in a very playful mood. Chasing birds and squirrels! I thought about working from home that day just to spend more time with him... Just as we got ready to leave the park he decided to start another game - catch me if you can - and oh god he slipped through the fence and a car rode over him. He was already dead when I got to him. I was so shocked and can't get that scene out of my head! What a terrible way for my little boy to die and he was only 1 year old! I feel soooo guilty and can't help thinking I should have known better and leashed him before we got so close to the fence! Why did this have to happen???? Can't help wondering what I did to deserve this?? And now everything reminds me of him!

Milo, my little boy I miss you so! What am I going to do without you? I hope you can forgive me for not taking better care of you that day? I love you, I love you, I love you.

How awful for you. You can't know everything and you can take every precaution possible and still not protect your baby. I hope the good memories with your baby stay with you and help you through this. Rest in peace Milo.

How sad and awful. Accidents happen even with the best precautions, you could never have known this would happen. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry your baby got into trouble and didn't make it. He is out of pain and playing at the Rainbow Bridge with all the others that have gone on before him. He knows that you love and miss him.
I too, have a sweet 11 month old at the Rainbow Bridge with him, hope they are having fun. We sure do miss them!

You could not have known this would happen or you never would have let him be out there off lead! Please don\'t beat yourself up over this. I am so sorry this happened to Milo and his family...so very sorry! Time will heal your broken heart...only time. Cherish his memory and that will keep him close to you in your heart.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge....

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
