One month and soon another week
 
It has been that long since I lost my sweet 8 year old Chloe and even those of you that have given me support I want to thank but yet it still hurts like hell. Jazmine the other Yorkie is still beside herself. Again I want to thank all for your great support especially reading of other men who were crushed at the loss of such a sweet dog. I used to feel awkward walking her thinking of what people would think and then my wife said I was an idiot for thinking that way. My eyes are so open now seeing other Yorkies during my travels. I miss my Chloe and I know that one day I will see her again at the Rainbow Bridge. I MISS HER SO MUCH

It takes a lot of time to heal such a deep wound. One day your memories will be less painful and your heart will lighten a little.

I remember when Bandit died I kept thinking that I wished I could go to sleep and wake up in a year and it wouldn't hurt so much! It is so hard to work through it while your heart heals. And, a part of you will always hurt for Chloe. I am so sorry for your pain!

I'm just now seeing your post Jim.....I am so sorry - you are in pain but keep talking about Chloe...one day ....the pain won't be such a knife in your heart and you will smile when you talk about her and your love....the ache will always be there but the memories will be happy ones....I'm very sorry for your loss...

Time will heal your broken heart
 
Your pain right now is so very deep, but with time, it will begin to ebb. After awhile it will be a memory. Dwell on the good memories you have of Chloe...you loved her for many years. Your heart is breaking now, but each day will allow you to heal. There will be good days and there will be days that just suck. It is very important to not push back those feelings but to let yourself grieve her loss. That is very important in the healing process. Give Jazmine lots of love and special attention. Her pain is very much like yours as Chloe was a huge part of her life as well. Keep your chin up...it will get better with time, I promise!

I sympathize with you. I hope that Sweet Chloe has found She-Ra up there. Just remember, she will ALWAYS be with you! :angelyork There have been time when I look down b/c I feel my She-Ra in front of me. I know that She-ra is still here in spirit just as Chloe is with you.
