I know how you are feeling. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully Gizmo has found She-Ra and the other YT buddies at the Rainbow Bridge. :rbyorkie: Rest In Peace sweet Gizzie. :angelyork |
I am so sorry for your loss of your precious little Gizzie. I know how hard this is and I truly grieve with you. I too lost a pup in the Spring of 2002. We buried him in our yard and planted a small dwarf evergreen shrub on his grave. We also planted some annual flowers that come back every Spring and bloom so pretty and remind us of our Hank...he loved the Spring as well and it just brings us close to him. You are gonna have some really hard days and them some will be easier. Time will bring healing and when you are ready, there are a lot of good breeders on Yorkie Talk you could get another puppy from. We are here for you and will try and help you thru this time. God Bless You...RIP little Gizzie...Have fun at Rainbow Bridge!!! |
Thanks everyone. Man, I thought I was the ONLY one that was so attached to my little Yorkie. Wow! I am really glad that I found this site and I will study it and learn from all of you. I am in a hotel on vacation visiting my married daughter in Jackson MS. Sunday, I will be visiting her in-laws and they have a sweet lil Yorkie, Lilly, that they got when we got our Gizmo.. it will be a little hard. Today, my husband said that maybe in a little while he will consider another pup. I am really thinking about it. There is no way in the world I could ever find one anything like Gizzie. He was definitely a companion Yorkie. I think the "sweet little retired" man that we got him from was not what he seemed. I accept full responsibility though for not researching how to find a breeder. Anyway, Gizzie had an undershot bite, his ears were too big, and his coat had a bit of a wave. But, he loved to play catch. We had a bunch of little tennis balls around the house and he would throw them to us and in turn, he could catch like a pro. When he couldn\'t find any of his humans to play with, he would throw the ball against the wall and play catch. I don\'t care about finding the perfect looking Yorkie, but someday, I hope to find a smart and sweet lil guy. |
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. |
] We know the heartache you and your husband are going through over the loss of Gizzie, we really never know how long any of them will have. We get them and love them and never ever want to let them go. We lost our precious Cassie November the 5th. We had her for ten and half years, never any health issue just all of a sudden. Life is kinda that way though we never know from one day to the next what is going to be. We did get another yorkie, we call her Baby Blessing and she really is a blessing to us, I am very thankful that we did get another. None will ever take the place of the one we loose nor would I ever want one to, but it really did help my husband and she is helping me to cope better. You and your husband will know when the time is right to get another, when you do please let us all know and post pictures. I have Cassie\'s picture in our gallery, it took me months to finally look at her pictures and to put it on YT , I also made it my screen saver and I think that is what is helping me a lot cause every time I turn this on I see her and it reminds me of the good times. We will always hold them dear to us and treasure the many many wonderful memories, I believe Gizzie is having fun across rainbow bridge with Cassie and all the many others that are their with him and bet they have plenty of tennis balls to play with too. May God help to ease the pain you and your hubby are feeling. I too found YT after our loss of Cassie, am so glad you have found this site too. In sincerity, Patti |
7 Is so terribly young,we lost our little Lady Priscilla at 8 so know the heartbreak your feeling. And I know that right now No words can really comfort you but please believe me when i say time will heal the tear in your heart, and then only the sweet memories will remain. You\'ll even be able to smile and laugh thinking of all the things you had done with your little Gizzie... |
