I wasn't quite sure where to post this. This is devastating news. I'm praying for James and for Rachel's family. I hope James will come to YT now.


3 Killed as Cars Collide in Fiery Crash

Authorities were searching Tuesday for two people who fled the scene of an accident on the 5 Freeway in Sylmar that left three people dead.

Sunny S. Nguyen, 49, of Canoga Park, a woman believed to be his wife and their daughter, Rachel, 26, of Los Angeles, were killed in the crash that occurred about 10:55 p.m. Monday north of the 210 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.


The family was traveling south in a 2000 Honda Civic from Lancaster when Nguyen started to exit onto the eastbound 210 Freeway, authorities said.

The Honda slowed to about 20 miles per hour before veering back onto the 5 Freeway where it was rear-ended by a Ford Thunderbird, authorities said.

The two occupants of the Thunderbird fled the scene, authorities said.

A pickup then rear-ended the Honda, setting it ablaze.

:cry: Wow... such a tragic and touching article to read about, but sadly to say it's happening each and everyday around the world. I pray that the families of each person involved in that crash will be ok. May God bless them all. Thanks for sharing and you are indeed a good friend. She would've liked this ;)

OMG, I read saw this in the paper and had no idea that it was Bella Bear. I loved reading her posts and she will be greatly missed. What a tragedy!
My prayers are with all family and friends.

Here is the article James sent me and it has the video feed. I couldn't help but cry as I saw them move their bodies out of the car. I just can't believe this tragedy. Their funeral is tomorrow. This is beyond painful.

This is so sad...thanks for sharing that video clip with us vainchick. I met Rachel and her Bella last year when I became a member of a dog meet-up. She's one of the nicest person there . My husband & I really liked her. We became a regular in that meet-up group. We were there when Bella celebrated her 1st B-day. But lately, after our furbabies got so terribly sick & scared us of loosing them we haven't been going to any of the meet-ups. We missed the people there especially her & Bella. So, when I saw this thread I can't believe that it was her. I was praying to God that it's not true. I went online & tried to ask people from our Meet-up group about this accident & our Organizer told me that unfortunately it was really her involved in that accident. I feel sorry for her whole family, James, & Bella. CONDOLENCES from my whole family to her family. God Bless her Kind Soul.

Oh this is sooo horrible!! I saw the original post and couldn't believe it - their family must be so devastated! I can't imagine what they are going through to have lost all three and poor James - I pray for strength for all of them!

I had chills...that video said they were returning from funeral planning for another family member....how much tragedy can one family take ?

My heart goes out to the brother and sister and James...and little Bella :(
