When You Loose a Loved Pet Why not remember them this way. I know that a few members have recently lost a LOVED pet so I wanted to share with you this http://www.collectionsetc.com/Item76093.aspx. |
Bump there isnt anyone who has lost a pet? Hmm sorry thought it was a good idea |
Yes it was a loverly idea they have some neat memorial collections. Having recently lost my Robbie we have just received his memorial stone that we got from the pet crematorium, we placed it on his grave in the garden along with a small solar light so at night when we look out of the window we can see him shining. |
It's a great idea!! Some of you may remember my granddaughter's cat, Spooky, that was recently killed by a pitbull. We were all just devistated, but especially Kayla as she is 16 and had the cat all her life. We are so far away and felt so helpless ... all I could do was hear her brokenhearted sobs long distance!! I got online and found a beautiful garden stone with a precious memorial engraved on it ... it also has a brass plate on it and has Spooky's name, birth, death, etc. engraved on it. It fits over the grave, flush with the ground and looks really pretty under a pink dogwood where her Dad buried her cat. She loved it and it gave her a little closure ... she will never "get over" the horror, but at least it made her feel a little better! |
We buried She-Ra at the back of our property under two trees. My dear hubby went out somewhere and found this unique stone and placed it atop her grave. I just haven't been able to write anything yet. I visit her grave daily, but I guess part of me won't let go yet. I am going to plant some lovely flowers when the weather gets better. I know she isn't there in a sense, but at least she can look down and see how lovely it is. I miss her so much. |
