Scrappy didn't win his battle with Parvo It's not a very good Valentines Day for me, the Vet called about 8:30 this morning and told me Scrappy passed away last night. I'm just lost, I know I didn't have him to long, but it hurts. The Breeder called me a little later and we both cried, she assured me I did everything I could, it was just out of our hands. She is going to pick up Scrappy and have an autopsy performed. She said there was several reasons she wanted it done. She wanted to make sure that he actually had Parvo, because sometimes there is a false positive reading, and another if he did for sure have parvo I should wait awhile before bringing a new puppy in my home. She also wanted to make sure it was nothing else she had to be concerned about with her being a breeder and all. Anyways, I appreciate everyones prayers and messages and I know Scrappy is up there playing now with all of the other fallen yorkies. Kim |
I am so sorry for you and Scrappy! You will be in my thoughts and prayers. |
I know you must me so sad right now..I have seen what pravo can do it is a horrible thing. Just know your baby is at peace now. |
Oh no...I was hoping you would not have bad news for us. I am so sorry for your loss. I will be thinking of you. |
OMG my heart is just broken for you right now. :( I'm so terribly sorry for you, Raven, the breeder and little Scrappy. At least your know your little Scrappy is safe and happy at the Rainbow Bridge, waiting for you. He's probably playing with my little Katie Lyn (RIP sweet angel) right now. Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author Unknown |
