That is fantastic, a new baby will help you heal. No dog can ever replace a beloved baby, they all have different personalities and quirky lil ways. Beamer will stay in your heart forever. I am so very happy you have decided to get a little baby (((hugs )))

We got our first Yorkie in 1984 and a second one a couple of weeks later Then after they went to Rainbows Bridge we got Lil Bit, who Bruce allegedly got for me but she attached herself to him. We had a couple of Senior rescue dachshunds then as well and when they passed away at ages 17 and 18 I got Beamer. We love dogs. We've had other rescue dachshunds as well as I am a failure as a foster mom. Bruce always had a reason why we should adopt the furbabies we fostered,, one was"we have to adopt Annie, she sings. She did sing!😆
Have to say that being here and able to "talk"to you all really helps. Nothing like being able to reminisce really helps the healing process.

I lost my lil Joey June 23 of this year and I have been reading about the loss of other Yorkie's to try to help somehow. I read where you still carry on full conversations with your Katy and that made me smile because I still carry on full conversations with my Joey. I am glad you shared that and I read that. It helps.

I'm so sorry to hear about little Joey. I've told Katy to make sure to find Joey across the rainbow bridge--she'll surely explain the importance of these conversations we are having.
