Just to say I'm so very sorry for the hurt you are going through each day right now. Praying for your healing time as you walk through these most sad days. We all cherish the times we have shared with our beloved little companions. We then go and love love again and again. |
I am so sorry for your loss of Jagger. In time your heart will heal but you will always have those wonderful memories in your mind. Take a day at a time and express your feelings because it is normal to grieve over our fur babies. Susan |
Sending prayers your way. It saddens my heart when I hear of someone who has lost man's best friend . My shiz tzu is nine years it so sad to see her aging. These days I just treasure each moment I have and all the wonderful moments she has given us. |
I am deeply sorry for your loss of your sweet Jagger. I am sending you and your family healing prayers.. |
I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Jagger. Sending prayers to you & your family. RIP Jagger! In Our Hearts We thought of you today, But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday, And days before that too. We think of you in silence, We often speak your name. Now all we have is memories, And your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, With which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping, We have you in our heart. |
:littleang I am so very sorry........ |
Thank you so much. I am absolutely crushed. |
Each day it is getting better. Although I am on my 6th and 7th Yorkies, (since I was age 12 - I am now 52), it is just never easy to have them leave. I am so encouraged by people that genuinely "get" my grief. I thought that Jagger & Jett would be my last 2, since my "human" boys are now 13 and 9. However, over the past few days since Jagger passed, I realized that I am just a dog lover. I'm pretty sure that I will have dogs in my life well into my 80s and 90s. I do like to get my babies in pairs. They just seem to do better with a playmate. So......looks like Jett will be getting 2 new playmates in the near future. :) If anyone knows of an excellent breeder in the Houston/Pearland/Galveston area, please let me know. Thxs. again! You all are beautiful, caring people. |

I know what you mean though, tartisst. For the longest time while Minnie was alive I thought I could never have another pup once Minnie died. My bond with Minnie was so strong; she was my greatest joy in life. And yet, when it happened I knew I would get another dog, though not for a while because I wanted time to grieve her. Started really looking only once I was 100% sure I was ready. And now I have that same kind of bond with Cookie. Probably even stronger since Minnie taught me to never take things for granted. |
Soon, I promise, this horrible aching pain will give way to happy memories...instead of deep pain of loss you will instead reflect and remember all those good times, you will laugh again, you will miss him, but the beautiful memories of wonderful times spent together are so much stronger than the pain that overcomes you right now, hugs to you hon. |
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God help you get through this terrible time in your life and remember the wonderful sweet times with your beloved Jagger. |
I'm so sorry about your sweet boy. I think we could both use one of these::hug: |
It is so good to hear that you are looking forward to welcoming 2 new little furkids into your life. You already know they joy lil Yorkies bring, and I completely understand how having 2 (or more) at a time is even better. I wish you all the best, and know that better days are ahead. |
