I dont know what to say
 

I havent been on for a while, and I have horrible news, This year has been the worst year of my life, I have never cried so much. Cindy our mix dog has passed away from old age a few months ago, and Kudos our yorkie passed away from a rattlesnake bite. We were outside in the backyard playing volleyball, then the worst happened. Kudos started barking and we believe he got bit more than 1 time, we took him to the vet and they gave him a shot and gave us medicine to give him. The vet said he should be fine, and we thought he should be fine. But he swelled up horribly and the vet didnt give us the right stuff. So he passed away the next day when we were on our way to take him to another vet, that could help.:(

Then after a few months passed we thought it would be good to get another yorkie that we just got 3 days ago, he is a 12 week old male purebred yorkie named Hurley. We love him and we will never forget about our beloved family members Cindy and Kudos!:animal-pa Our other dog Leland is doing good, he was hurting cause he lost two siblings but we have been taking great care of him. And know he is doing even better since we have gotten the puppy. I will try to be on more and keep you posted, its good to be back.

So glad you have something happy after such a hard year! Isn't it amazing how a dog changes a house?

Yes, before we got Hurley we were kind of moping around and we went to go see him and brought him home and we arent as mopy.

I'm so devastated to hear about Cindy and Kudos. I loved reading your posts about Kudos when I first came here, shattered after Minnie's death. I'm so sorry you have to deal with the same tragedy but twice. Hugs, and I'm glad to hear you have Hurley and Leland, because you're awesome and they're fortunate to have you!

Thank you!:) Hurley and Leland are doing good, Hurley just has to learn to go potty outside not on our bed. And Leland is being such a good boy.

I'm sorry to hear of your news. My heart is breaking for you. It's so hard losing best friends...

I remember you and Kudos! It sounds like you've been through an awful time this year losing two members of your family. But the shock of losing one to an awful old rattlesnake bite through vet error has got to hurt extra.

Have you filed a complaint with the veterinary medical board of your state for the malpractice? Something so grievous as giving the wrong medication needs to be investigated thoroughly by the board who has oversight in keeping his vet license current in case he's losing it or something in order to protect his other patients. I'm so sorry that this has all happened to you and two of your dogs. I can't imagine how hard it has been and still is. RIP, little Kudos and Cindy.

No we havent filed a complaint but that is a good idea, we never really thought about that thank you. We will see what we could do.
