Zada is dancing with the angels!
 
It's been a pretty rough past few months around here, but the one that tore my heart out was the loss of my precious little Zada. She had been in and out of the hospital for the past 2 years due to collapsed trachea. We took the girls up to San Francisco May 22nd visiting my son and his wife. Zada was not doing well at all so we cut our visit short to come home and take Zada to the Vet. The Vet. put her on oxygen and said she was too afraid to send her home and suggested either take her to the hospital or let her go. We knew it was overdue so we let her go. Our son and his new wife and step son was here visiting and thankfully helped us out with everything and their support. Was a very sad few days.

I am so sorry about the loss of your Zada. It is so hard to lose our pups, no matter how old or what the circumstances, it is such a heart break.

I am so sorry to hear about Zada. I know you exhausted every avenue for getting her help with her collapsed Trachea and she had more quality time because of it. RIP sweet Zada, I know your family misses you so much.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My littlest Yorkie had a collapsed trachea from the time she was little, and as time went on, I knew she might not recover from one of her attacks. She lived to 9.5, years longer than expected, and we treasured each moment we had with her. Gracie was a gift, a little angel who lived life full speed ahead, and she was so full of life. I know how much you love Zada and how much you miss her. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Thank you all for your helpful words. I know some of you know the pain of losing such a valued member of your family and I do pray my little Zada is playing with each and every one of them in heaven. Zada was 9 years old December 5th 2013.

Donna, I just saw your post and I'm heartbroken for your loss of Zada. I know what a special part of your family she occupied. I will keep you and your dear family in my thoughts and prayers. I'll never forget pics of you with a big armful of little beauties - if memory serves me it was at an ice cream store. Sending healing :hug: and strengthening :hands:.

I surely hope your sweet Zada is running free and healthy with my beloved Boo the Boxer. She loved the yorkies!

Glad you had the support of family and am so sorry for your Zada. I know how sad it is to lose these babies.....to know you did everything you could to make her comfortable is the greatest gift to your pup, she knew you loved her....I hope time brings you peace very soon.

It's still a little difficult being here and talking about our precious fur babies, but I think it helps too. I still have Azrael, Razael and Jilli Ann. My fear now lies with Jilli Ann. She will be 3 years old Sept. 4th and ever since we got her at 3 months, she would have a very coarse sounding cough, but only once in a few months, but it has slowly gotten more frequent. I'm taking her in for an x-ray after Azrael is finished with her operation on her anus and teeth cleaning..............same time hopefully. She goes in on the 15th. The thought of losing another one at a young age really brings me to tears.

Praying for Azrael's surgery to go perfectly, and for Jilli Ann's xray report to bring good news, put your mind at ease. It's obvious how much your beautiful girls mean to you.

I can never think of the right thing to say. Words are so insignificant when trying to express how sorry I am for your loss. I hope you take comfort in knowing that Zada really is dancing with the angels.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Dudley on June 10 this year and still cry for him daily. RIP Zada
