I don't come to this section often, it makes me cry. I loathe crying! Your love for your baby is so apparent in your words. RIP sweet Brandi, you are one loved baby for sure! (((HUGS)))

Now I'm crying again . . but a good cry is needed every now and than.


Yes, she was Loved and still is . . that will never change even in her death. We miss her and with time will stop the hurtful tears which will one day turn to joyful tears as we remember her with our stories we tell about her. Its strange that I cant feel her presents in our home and I hope that one day that will change as I am a believer in spirits staying around people and places where they have the most connection to. Or it could be she is with my daughter Sammi at her home. Ether way I hope she found her way over the bridge and is happily running free in the fields which was one of her favorite things to do. :)

When it came time for my cat, I held him as well for his last breath. I was a wicked mess. Sorry for your loss.

I just saw this - I'm an old timer here and not sure if you remember me but I am so sorry for your loss...I've been there and it's such a super emotional process but I knew my girls (this is when I was married and had 3 cocker spaniels) were at Rainbow Bridge -

you HAVE to think of them happy, free and waiting for us.....through your tears.....:(

I'm a bit the same way but used to come here to offer support while feeling just terrible for the losses and have to say to you - I am so so sorry for your loss....I have been through it but it just never leaves your heart.

Your Brandi must have had a wonderful life knowing you loved her and she knows you still do...I truly believe we will see them again....

Dawn, I have known you for such a short time but your words have always shown the love in your heart. Brandi was so lucky to live in a home like yours.

Those of us who have gone through this know how your heart is broken:lovewings and

I too agree, they are counting on us to make the unselfish decision that will bring them peace.

I'm sure heaven has our dear little ones or how else could they call it heaven.
Now I'm crying.

I've only recently been back here ater years of practically living on this site and I felt the same way almost right away seeing Dawn's post - Dawn - you must be special - I've known Joan who just posted to you (Crystalsmom) and that is a very nice compliment to you !

Hugs and again - I am so so sorry for your loss...

I wish I could hug everyone that comes here to post :(

Thank you ALL so very much for all of your kind words. . . It makes me well up with tears every time I come here and read yet another wonderful comment form someone. Just knowing how much people, complete strangers care about myself and the loss of my sweet girl Brandi make my heart fill with so much Joy !!


YT is full of so many wonderful members and I feel as if I have a wonderful family whom I've never met but still feel a loving connection with. :D

Dawn I just learned about Brandi's passing and wanted to let you know how sorry I am that you had to make that difficult decision. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Thank you Carolyn ! Once I saw how frail and sick she was becoming I knew that there was not better choice for her sake and for ours. I miss her so much . . we all do.
