Bella is now at the Rainbow Bridge
 
I am so heartbroken. She had a collapsed trachea and we managed it for 3 years. Suddenly yesterday she woke up in the morning in respiratory distress. There wasn't anything the vet could do so I made the heartbreaking decision to put her at peace. She was only 6 1/2 . I feel cheated.

I am so very very sorry for your loss. I have a girl with ct and just a bit over a year old. I appreciate each day I get to see her play and enjoy life knowing I may not get to see her gold old. My prayers to you at this difficult time and may your Bella RIP. hugs.

How sudden:( My condolences on Bella. I know that it is heartbreaking losing a special pet. In time may you find peace, and remember all the good times with Bella, as I'm sure she gave you lots of them. Sending warm thoughts your way.
I have a 2yo yt and knew of this particular problem with yt's before I got mine, so I asked whether the parents had this problem and was told no. So far, so good. Wondering when did this ct show up in Bella? Can it happen at any age?

My heart goes out to you on the sad and untimely loss of Bella. I lost my Gracie at 6 1/2 with the same thing. Its so sad that their lives were cut short.

I will pray for you at this sad time. Losing a family pet is so heartbreaking. Just know little Bella is up there with my Teddy Peanut and they are where it is very beautiful.

I am very sorry for your loss. I felt cheated too when I lost my little Gracie due to CT, but her life with me was truly a gift, and I cherish the memories of my precious baby girl. Love lasts forever, and so do our memories. I pray the sadness you feel now will eventually diminish as you treasure the memories of life with Bella.

We found out around the time after she had her teeth cleaned when she was 3 years old. I still think the vet at Banfield did something but I can't prove it. I hope you don't have this with your sweet baby. Its so horrible to watch them go thru it.
