I have tears streaming down my face as I just read about sweet Minnie Bear. Oh how the love of a Yorkie can touch our hearts! I have three dogs out in the backyard and each one is so special. We made each a personalized stone. Ole Tuffy has a dog statue, Teddy Peanut has his name with hearts and Shadow my silver poodle has a cross of wood and a stone. Minnie was a beautiful Yorkie. I pray we will see our fur friends again. Blessed is the man or woman or child who truly know the love of a dog. You will never be lonely and their faithfulness is forever!

Thank you sandy; we have an angel statue watching over little Minnie now. I guess it's true that great minds think alike, haha!

Thank you for your sweet thoughts, but may I point out that substitution ciphers are extremeley insecure? I decoded your ciphertext in just a couple of minutes and didn't even need to do a statistical attack on it. Perhaps you might be better served by using 128-bit AES in the future, haha.
Haha! Sorry about that. My notebook seems to have developed it's very own language! Switched back to my laptop, lol.

Just wanted to share a couple of photos of my girl (I dreamed she was still here with me last night :yorkiej: )

First one is a nice portrait, second is of her taking a nap in her favorite sleeping area, and third is of her relaxing on the couch. She was a lot more energetic than the last two photos would indicate though. Funny you can see our carpet is brown in the second pic; if I gave her a full milkbone snack she'd try to bury it in the carpet (and give her nose a wicked carpet burn) since it looked like dirt. :)

Most of my photos of her are on film though; will have to scan those in sometime soon since I really need to be able to look at her and remember her in pictures, as I can no longer go grab her for kisses.

It's so heartwarming to read about a little one so loved. We lost our last little angel almost a year ago a month shy of her seventeenth birthday. No amount of time will ever diminish the loving bond we feel with our babies. Ashley will be forever loved and missed, and so will her sisters. A year ago, Katie ended our lives, and she has helped our hearts to heal. We are so in love with our little girl, and though we think of Ashley with such wonderful, happy memories, our Katie has also brought us infinite love and joy. I am so deeply sorry for your loss of Minnie. I hope your heart heals in time and that your memories makes you smile.

I'm wiping away the tears reading your story about your special Minnie. Yo have such a big heart, and she is such a special creature. I love how much she loved snacks, and tried time and time again to get them. I loved all of the pictures of her, especially the one where she is sleeping wearing a red shirt. I'm so glad that you gave her a life filled with love and closeness, without you, she wouldn't have known the joy of such a happy home. Love to you and your family during this sad time.

I think Minnie was every bit as good to us as we were to her. Funny thing about snacktime.... I'd often give her one right at 8:00PM. She got pretty good at telling time, as she would always come up and start scratching my leg for a snack right at 8:00PM give or take 6 or 7 minutes haha. Minnie was crazy smart. Always seemed to corner the neighbors' cats any time they tried to venture into my yard.

I love the shot of Teddy in his tie from your album, Teddysmom. Oh my god, that brought me a huge smile and a laugh.

I am so sorry for your loss of Minnie. She found a loving happy home despite the hardships of her early life....she and you won the lottery.
Her years with you were filled with joy and laughter, for that she will never be forgotten. Hopefully soon the happy memories of her will help heal your heart. Bless you for loving her so, this was a match made in Heaven.

Indeed Minnie and our family are a match made in heaven. Never had a dog that could make me laugh like that before her, and like Neruda said, laughter is the language of the soul.

Found two more digital photos of my girl. I took these in pretty low light around sunset a few months ago, so the color isn't great (my digital camera only takes good photos outside when it's nice and bright sun). She's just chilling on one of the backyard lawn chairs. These pics make her look way bigger than she really is; maybe she's climbing up on an armrest or something, haha.
