I'm so sorry that Willow has passed on. Love like she gave you will forever life on but I know you miss her face and her magic little presence in your life. The hole she left in it is massive, I know. It looks from those pictures as if she was a nature-lover and liked being outside! Grieve and gather your fond times and sweet stories of her life to you so you will have those to hang onto in the next weeks and months as those can help during this extremely painful time. I can only pray that in time to come the pain gets less to the point where someday all that is left in your heart are wonderful memories of the good times and you begin to look forward to knowing love like that once more. Willow would want that. |
I grieve with you We lost our princess Cruella on Feb 13/13 and my life is empty and my heart is with her. She has congestive heart failure and she was only 11. It hurts so much and I am lost without her. |
I'm so very sorry. Rest in Peace, Willow. |
I'm so sorry, I know your heart must be breaking, you must have been a wonderful mom for her to live so long. RIP Willow. |
My Princess was misdiagnosed Yorkie Friends, My little was diagnosed with a protein leak and the vet found that her heart was enlarged to 80% of capacity. Her little body with shake all over and then the vet would give her a shot of Convenia to fight the bacteria and they she would be a puppy again. The last time the vet gave her Fortekor for her heart and Prednizone for the protein leak. Then I took her to another vet who gave her 3 digital xrays and took blood plus an ultra sound (all for free). I was told that she didn't have a protein leak and that her liver was outside her rib cage (giving her an extended tummy) and that her we had to wean her off the prednizone because it was working against her heart. The xray also showed that she has fluid in her heart and lungs. We started to wean her down to 1/2 Prednizone for 5 days, then hoping to get her down to 1/4, but my little girl lost the fight on the 5th day of cutting down the Prednizone. Please, please think long and hard before giving your baby Prednizone. I would kill just to have her back as cooked with me, peed with me, watched my brush my teeth, so then I would brush hers. She slept with me curled against my tummy and I sorry for all that she had to go thru. I will always luv her and nothing will every replace her. |
I am so very sorry for your loss. I have loved each of my babies so much, and I don't think I'll ever get over losing them. My Ashley was very close to seventeen, and I was unable to prepare myself from losing her. After almost two years without a little one in our lives, Katie joined our family, and we are so in love with her. We still talk about our Rainbow Bridge babies a lot, and although it hurts a lot, we smile about the beautiful impact they had on our lives and the wonderful memories we have. Katie has heed to ease our pain, and she has carved a new spot in our hearts. I hope you are able to love again and that your heart heals. Your Willow was really special. |
