R.I.P. Major
 
It's been awhile since I posted, or even logged on here.....I hope everyone has been great and all your lil fur babies too :)

I never thought I would reconnect on Yorkietalk under these circumstances but My lil man Major was killed last week.... he was attacked by another dog..... He was 3 and I miss him so so very much.... I remember first getting him at 10 weeks and being so Full of Joy, he was indeed my best friend... I still have Yola she will b 3 soon and is doing well....

I feel like noone around me can relate or even understand what I feel like right now... so I came here to hopefully just find a peace of mind........

My sympathies on the passing of your Major (may he rest in peace). I can't begin to imagine your sadness but I hope you can take comfort in the memories you made with Major.

Oh my gosh, I am so very sorry:unlove: Of course everyone here understands how much you love your babies and a lot of us have lost one or more:( No one in my real life understood when my Starr passed away, they said she was "just a dog":mad: I happened to stumble onto YT when looking for support. Everyone here really helped me a lot!

I hope that with some time, you will feel better and you will be able to smile when you think of Major:love: BIG hugs going out to you!!!

I am so very, very sorry to hear about the loss of your baby, Major. What a cute name:) What kind of dog attacked him, I hope you're pressing charges!
I just lost my baby, Ace, he was just 4, so I know exactly what it is like to lose a baby so young, it's extra tragic. I know what you mean about feeling like people don't understand, I feel the same way. I'm having a difficult time with what happened to my Ace. Ace was my best friend too, he was there for me before I was married and all alone. He never judged me and gave me unconditional love, I would not have gotten through the rough times without my boy. How is your Yola holding up? So very sad for the loss of your little boy. Major and Ace are in heaven right now and we will see them again. If you ever need to talk please feel free to message me. I am very sorry for your loss, it's hard when they go so suddenly. I know exactly what you are going through because I lost two yorkies that very same way. Time is about the only thing that helps that and the comfort of your other yorkie.

Thank you ALL so much for taking the time to respond to my post.... All your feedback is greatly appreciated & noted.... I am UP at 5:29am which seems to be the WAKE UP time in the last week or so.... I just can't sleep.... visions of him and his death keep flashing thru my eyes and It's very unsettling.... I will respond personally to any questions that we're asked a lil later.... Thanks guys!

:( Time will help ease your pain, but you'll always miss him. Try to remember all the fun times you had together when you feel really down, it helps. Your in my prayers.

OMgosh I am so sorry for your loss. What a tragic event. I lost a 15 year old cat to a neighbors dog. :( Major RIP lil man.

This story and the pictures break my heart. I can't imagine what you're going through. What happened could happen to any one of us, and we really do feel your pain. He led a fantastic life and gave you memories to last a lifetime. I hope those good memories bring you peace.

A little piece of my heart always dies when I hear of the loss of a little one. You came to the right place for comfort...many on this forum have lost their babies, we all sympathize. Take comfort in that Major is running and playing with all the furbabies at the Rainbow Bridge, waiting for you to join him one day. I'm so very sorry for you loss.
I hope time will offer you some peace and comfort, you will never forget him, he will always be in your heart.
