One year ago my precious Sammy went to Rainbow Bridge. He is with his big beagle brother Benji. Sam, the house is just so empty without you. I miss you and love you so very much (Benji too). Thank you for giving us so much joy, love and happiness. I miss the hugs and kisses and playing ball and hanging out in the yard together. I miss you stealing raspberries from the bush in the garden. I miss you tapping the back of my leg when I make salad, like you were saying-don't forget me, I'd like a piece of carrrot! The boys miss you greeting them when they come home. I even think the mail carrier and UPS man miss you "scaring" them away from "your" house! My little tough man! Have fun with Benji and give your Grandpa lots of kisses. I know Grandpa is saying to you both, Vieni qua, mangia. We all love you and miss you and send hugs and kisses to you and Benji. XXXXOOOO

The pictures of Sammy and Benji came out sideways , sorry!! Also there's a picture of their memorial spot in my garden.

What a lovely tribute to your babies, Sammy looks like he was full of energy and personality. I think your memorial spot is beautiful and this is something you could do even if your still moving from place to place. My condolences, but I’m glad grandpa has a couple of dogs to keep him company, and what a greeting you will receive!

I know how much it hurts to be without your babies and how much you miss them, and I'm truly sorry for your loss. I hope the beautiful memories of times and love you have shared always bring a smile and comfort to your heart. Although it hurts to lose our babies, isn't it wonderful how their love and their impact lasts forever? My heart is with you today.

Thanks so much for your kind words. It's a tough day. It still hurts very much but I also am remembering all the good times too. I am so fortunate to have had two great dogs in my life and am proud to be their Mamma. Thanks again for your support, caring and kindness. It means alot to me.
