Spicy was a beautiful girl and very lucky to have been in your loving care in the last part of her life. RIP Spicy. |
R.I.P Spicy. Hope you see my Keally and give her a hug for me. |
I thought I was doing really well handling her passing but today has been difficult. I had to get out of the house and go down town for awhile because everything reminded me of her and the other girls seemed to be worried because they were like little mice. I treated myself to Panda Express, but while I was sitting there eating, the tears just fell out and I could hardly stop them. A woman with her grown invalid daughter and her daughters three kids were sitting close to me and the lady came over and ask if there was anything she could say or do for me. I told her I had to put my Papillon down and it's been difficult. She actually took my hand and said a soft prayer, then said things will get better. That woman must be an angel because she has her daughter to take care of and grandkids she's raising, but she still has time for a stranger. I think those of you that have said kind words to me, a stranger, are like that lady. God bless you! (I brought the girl back a treat and they were happy again). |

It sounds like Spicy had a wonderful life with you and you are an angel for taking her in. Her story makes me think of my foster... Abandoned at 12 years old by her family because her owner passed away. I know that if we do not find the perfect home for her, she will spend her last years living with us. RIP Spicy :( |
