Oh yes I have such great memories of him! Thanks for looking at his blog. |
First Thanksgiving without you. Missing your puppy kisses. |
Holidays are the worst when still missing a family member. God bless. |
Thanks. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. |

Papa Dee was my step dad and he loved Paris like his own.He passed away on Aug 22. A few days before he died, A hospital Yorkie came to visit Dee and his eyes lit up and he said "This is just like Paris". Those few moments of happiness I knew were sent to Papa Dee by Paris! |
Holidays are hard without my pup! |
I know you miss him terribly. I know you always will. Maybe the time will soon come when you'll be ready for another pup?? I know you'd make a little dog out there the happiest in the world if you were ready... |
That is a wonderful story to share and I know you are right about the special visitor to Papa Dee. I bet Paris met him at the rainbow bridge. |
I'm. So sorry.. |
awwww my heart hurts for you. :( What a beautiful gift Paris gave Papa Dee. I'm so sorry about your stepfather. Do you have a Christmas tree ornament in Paris' memory? I have a beautiful wood ornament in memory of my Stuart, who passed 7 years ago. Every Christmas he is with us in spirit, hanging on our tree and watching the festivities. Paris' lot in life was just not fair, but he could not have had a better mommy to love him and take care of him. (((HUGS))) to you! |
I have a couple ornaments with Paris' photo and his photo is on my mantle in the living room. I also made a photo book of his blog. In August my son and I adopted a kitty from the humane shelter. Her name is Leica. Paris would have loved her. (Today is 11 months and still missing my Paris.) I suppose I always will but he would want me to be happy so I am remembering the good times. Thanks to all. |
Hard to believe it's been a year since Paris had to go. I still miss his crooked smile and funny ways every day. I remember the fun times and puppy cuddles. You are always in my heart, I love you puppy dog. |
Thoughts and prayers for you! Your love for Paris shows. RIPsweet baby. I hope your mommy can find comfort in your memories and in knowing there are many well loved yorkieswaiting at the bridge to show you the ropes! |
Wow, 1 year already huh? I think Paris is showing the ropes to all the newbies at the Rainbow Bridge. :) |
He's my special angel. |
That is a beautiful poem! |
Which one are you talking about? And thanks! |

Oh thanks so much for that. I was in so much pain when I wrote that. I just wrote what was pouring out of my heart. |
Still missing my Paris, but I know he is watching over me. |
Oh sweet Paris! Hey you left us hanging on your Paris blog... saying you were going to post some more stuff, but you never did! I loved your blog and how much you loved and cared for Paris! :) |
I posted some more photos, but don't write on it anymore. Lots of people wanted me to keep it open to see so I didn't shut it down. I had it made into a book I keep on my table and I love the fact that people and their pups still are helped by Paris' story. Thanks for looking! |
I really missed you today, my sweet puppy dog. Mommy loves you. |
I love the pics of Paris from your blog. I'd say my favorite is the "mad face" when he's pulling on the sock, but the one where you put the golf ball in his food bowl to slow him down is really cute too. |
Thanks. I love to look at his photos and laugh at the funny faces he would make. It really helps a lot that people still look at his blog and are being helped by his life. I was going through my files yesterday and found all his medical records, I couldn't bring myself to shred them yet. It is his history. So I will keep them a while longer. <3 Paris <3 |
I wouldn't shred the records unless looking at them makes you feel sick. Reading about Paris and looking at his photos was the only thing that brought a smile to my face the day I buried Minnie, and it finally lowered my stress level enough to allow me to sleep after being up about 45 hours straight. Your blog is one of the main reasons I like to write about Minnie. Maybe someone experiencing such acute sorrow might read about Minnie and know he/she isn't alone in loving a spectacular animal so much the same way I read about Paris and finally found a little bit of peace. |
You are so kind. I am so glad Paris' blog has helped you. I hope you can continue to heal through what is one of the hardest things to go through. I found peace knowing Paris had a wonderful life and the fact he is still helping others in their time of need. Keep writing, even if it's just for your eyes. It helps to remember all the good times. |
Missing my sweet puppy dog so much today. Need some puppy hugs and kisses. |
Hugs for you. |
Thanks. I'm ok. Just a bad day. |
