For those who remember me:

My sweet baby girl, Lucy, is there now playing with all the other beloved pets who have gone before her. She's not hurting anymore, or swollen, or embarrassed because she couldn't make it to the pee pee pad.

She went with me holding her, whispering in her ear so she knew what a good girl she was and how much her Mommy loved her.

I got my little darling at the lowest point in my life - right after my husband died. She filled a void in my heart with her warm little body and sweet kisses that I believed would always remain empty. I cannot believe that I'll never open the front door after work to find her literally bouncing because she's so happy to see me or that I'll never see her race down the hall to jump in my bed to play hide and seek in the pillows.

Sweet sleep my darling, my sweet baby girl. Mommy loves you.

I am so very sorry. Your tribute to your little baby is so warm and heartfelt. She was one lucky little baby to have you in her life.

My condolences for your loss. It is wonderful that you were with Lucy at the end talking to her so she wasn't afraid - I've done that myself and, while it is probably one of the hardest things to do, it is an important final gift that we can give our babies...

So sorry to hear about Lucy - may she rest in peace. Your touching tribute to Lucy demonstrates the strong bond you two had -- it brought tears to my eyes.

May Lucy watch over you always and may you take comfort in the precious memories you made with her.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Lucy. Remember you were a wonderful Mom and Lucy knew that. She will always be in your heart and right now she may be playing with my beloved Keally. Hugs to you and take care of. Susan

Words at a time like this doesn't even help. I know too well the hurt and only time helps. Just know you and Lucy had a good life together and she knew she was loved. RIP little sweet darling.

lucy was lucky to have you as her mom maybe she is in heaven playing with my two yorkies davis and addison im sure they are making everyone smile with thier cute little ways they express themselfs :aimeeyork
