RIP Prancer I lost my yorkie on 10/28/11 its been a little over a week and my heart is still as broken as the day he passed, he suffered from PLE and was on medication for like four years for that a week before his passing he started having seizures and was put on phenabarbitol, I think his little body just gave out on him he would have been 11 yrs old on 11/11/11. My husband is taking it a little harder than I am we are just so lost without him our whole world revolved around that sweet baby. I just wish the pain in my heart would get a little better does anybody have any suggestions on how to deal with this he was our child we have no children and our house is so empty now that he is gone we want to get another one but not too soon we want to give our hearts time to heal. |
I am very sorry to hear about Prancer - May He Rest in Peace. Sounds like you and your husband have tons of wonderful memories and I hope you can take some comfort in this. May Angel Prancer watch over you and hubby always. |

I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like Prancer brought so much happiness and joy into you and your husband's lives. I understand the pain. A lot of us here have been through the pain of losing a furbaby. It takes time to get over it. I copied the location of a link that is posted in this forum under the "In Memory Of...(R.I.P.) where you posted this. I hope it helps in some way. Rest in peace, little angel. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/mem...-pet-loss.html |
I'm so very sorry for your loss. It is so heartbreaking when we lose our precious pups. Take time to grieve and mend your broken hearts. Rest in Peace, Prancer. |
We too have lost two very special yorkies one at 13 years old and another at 3 years old. You can never replace them that is for sure I miss each of them so much. My husband to is very attached to our babies. He did not want another after the first one passed said it was to hard to lose them. We went a month without a small dog hardest month of my life. You will give another lucky dog a great home. You will always have the amazing memories. But the laughter and smiles a new one will bring to your lives really helped me.. Rip your little one they all will be waiting for us someday.... |
I am so sorry you lost your baby. I know your heart is broken. Sending you gentle hugs.... |
My heart goes out to you both for your heartbreak and loss. If you haven't done so already, you may want to make a memory book for Prancer. It will give you something to do and a way to always have those memories close at hand. Once your heart feels capable of sharing your love with another yorkie, you might want to consider giving a rescue yorkie a home or perhaps being foster parents for a yorkie rescue. |
Jennifer, I’m so sorry about the loss of your precious Prancer. The loss of one of our beloved family members is so heartbreaking . The companionship Prancer must have brought to you and your husband must have left you with many memories to cherish. Your both blessed to have had him in your lives. The grief your feeling is a testament to the power of love and attachment you had with your Prancer. It is inevitable; accept it, and allow it to take its course. I hope you’re at peace in knowing your gave Prancer all your best for him to have a good life…… |
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband. Although it's little comfort now always know that he will remain close in your heart. Rest in peace little Prancer. |
