This is a great wake up call. RIP sweet Oliver! This definitely made me very sad and I hope you feel better soon. I can only imagine the pain you are going through. I can't imagine my life without my babies...my bf and I have talked about when one day they won't be here with us anymore and it just makes us SO SAD! I wish they live to as long as us! Like the quote I've read somewhere said "Dogs' lives are too short. Their only fault", which I find VERY TRUE.

So sorry for your loss. :( Everybody makes mistakes... God knows I made mistakes when Jackson was a puppy.

I am so sorry for the loss of precious Oliver and I just know in time your heart will heal and you will know when you are ready for another.

I would take your time to grieve right now and know we are here for you *HUGS*

Sad to hear about the tragic loss of your sweet baby Oliver, Prayers and Hugs for you and your fiance and hope you remember your loving memories of Oliver. It was a terrible accident and it will take you a while to grieve. Thinking about another puppy isn't bad and Oliver would want you to be happy, but you will know when it is time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my little girl back in August. It is still hard and I still sleep with her favorite toy. Little by little it will get better even though you can't see it now. My heart is breaking for you.

I am so sorry for your loss...its so hard to lose them no matter what the circumstance is or was....I just lost my Isabella on August 5, 2011 after a horrific battle she had with GME/NLE, she was only 17 months old when she left us....do not feel bad for having dreams of another....your Oliver may be sending you a message, listen to him. Sending you big hugs, look for butterflies...he is with you. :)

Oh I so agree with you.....she will go thru so many stages of grief...anger being one...I am still very angry...not at anyone in particular but angry because we could not save Isabella....I made a promise to her the day we got her I would never let anything happen to her....I have felt so much anger over failing her....I know now its ok to smile and even laugh..there are good days and some really terrible days.....but I know Isabella is in my heart and the hearts of so many who knew her. I also know now the reason Isabella was Meant to Be with me.....it still hurts but she will live on forever thru research...we will find why GME/NLE is killing our breed and hopefully one day stop it. And I know too that when the time is right Isabella will send me another baby to love.

I am so sorry you lost your baby. I almost lost my Teddy the same way but somehow he ran out from under the car's wheels and wasn't hurt. I was so mad at myself for leaving him loose in the yard. I know I will never do it again. Hugs to you and if another baby will help you heal I think you should go ahead. I know I would.
